Itinerary

Day 1: Yerevan city tour, Ararat Brandy Company

Stop At: Yerevan, Yerevan
Acquaintance with Armenia starts with a sightseeing tour of Yerevan city, and more specifically in “Haghtanak”(Victory) park, where besides military equipment and the museum of the Ministry of Defense, you can see “Mother Armenia” statue, a pleasant surprise will be a panoramic view of Yerevan. Next, the descent to the Cascade follows. A short break for dinner, after which we go to the Republic Square - the heart of our capital.

Stop At: Ararat Museum, 2 Admiral Isakov Ave, Yerevan 0082, Armenia
At the end of the first excursion day there will be an excursion with a tasting at the “Ararat” Cognac Factory. Today it is one of the most famous and successful brands not only in Armenia but also in the whole world. Ararat has preserved the traditions of cognac production since 1887. Only local grape varieties with special taste and quality are used in the production of the genuine Armenian cognac.

Day 2: Etchmiadzin, Zvartnots Cathedral, Noy Brandy Factory

Stop At: Echmiadzin Monastery Complex, Vagharshapat 1101 Armenia
After breakfast at the hotel, we shall go to the First city of the Armenian Church - Vagharshapat (Ejmiatsin). At the entrance to Vagharshapat city, we can look at one of the oldest churches in the world, St. Hripsime Church, which has remained unchanged almost since 618. The next church we shall visit will be St. Gayane church. Then our path lies to the Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, which is the most ancient Christian cathedral on the planet and dates back to 303. The Cathedral is unique in architectural terms, as well as it is a place of pilgrimage for many Christians from all over the world.

Stop At: Noy Yerevan Brandy Factory, Isakov admiral str. 9, Yerevan 0004 Armenia
Then we shall visit the ruins of a unique cathedral of the 10th century-Zvartnots. All the listed temples are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, upon returning to Yerevan, we shall have an excursion to the cognac factory "Noy-Ararat", the official supplier of the Kremlin.

Farewell supper at one of the Armenian traditional restaurants with national cuisine, live music and dancing.

Day 3: Sevan lake, Dilijan - Haghartsin Monastery, Ijevan Wine Factory

Stop At: Lake Sevan, Lake Sevan, Gegharkunik Province
Breakfast at the hotel. First, we shall go to the mountain lake Sevan - the pearl of Armenia. Here, on a small peninsula, the unique complex Sevanavank with peaceful energy, built of basalt, which is of great importance in the centuries-old Armenian history, is located. Exploration of the Complex will leave an indelible impression, ascetic churches have peaceful energy.

Pass By: Dilijan, Dilijan, Tavush Province
Then our way lies to the so-called Armenian Switzerland, passing a two-kilometre tunnel, we find ourselves in the outskirts of the famous resort Dilijan, covered with dense forests.

Stop At: Haghartsin Monastery, Dilijan Armenia
An important part of the trip is a visit to the Armenian medieval monastery complex Haghartsin of the 11-13 centuries.

Stop At: Ijevan, Ijevan, Tavush Province
After the visit of the monastery complex, a visit to the “Ijevan” wine factory with a tasting of local wines awaits us.

Day 4: Khor Virap, Noravank, Areni wine tasting, Bird's Cave

Stop At: Khor Virap, Highway 11 - Near the village of Pokr Vedi Artashat, Lusarat 0612 Armenia
After breakfast, the first point of the excursion will be a visit to the monastery complex - Khor Virap, where every traveller has an unforgettable view of biblical Mount Ararat.

Stop At: Areni, Areni, Vayots Dzor Province
Next, you should visit the Areni winery, here you will try a tasting of local wines made from grapes grown in the Ararat valley.

Stop At: Arpa River, Jermuk Armenia
Dinner at a restaurant on the bank of the river Arpa.

Stop At: Noravank Monastery, NoravankMonastery Road Amaghu Valley, Areni 3604 Armenia
Then we shall visit the monastery complex Noravank, built here in the 13th century, and represents a symbol of eternal love. The monastery complex of Noravank is located in a breathtaking location, above the brick-red rocks of a deep canyon.

Stop At: T'rchuneri (Bird) Cave, Highway At the Entrance To Noravank Canyon, Areni 3604 Armenia
Next to the monastery complex the Birds Cave is located, where the world's oldest leather shoe and a winery that dates back to 5000 BC have been found recently.
