  • Day 1 Arrival-Windhoek
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Arrival-Windhoek

      Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet up with Across Africa Tours driver and transferred to Town lodge. The airport is 45 km outside Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. Later you will join our guide for a free township tour. Dinner will be at your own expense at the restaurant of your choice.

  • Day 2 Windhoek - Sossusvlei
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Windhoek - Sossusvlei

      After your early breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation and depart at 9 am to world-famous Sossusvlei via picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. Youโ€™ll have a Stop-over at the viewpoint to appreciate the fantastic view of Namibia. Lunch at the Solitaire oasis. This time is scorching. We recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool. Early rest is required as tomorrow you are expected to wake up early in the morning.

  • Day 3 Sossusvlei - Full Day
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Sossusvlei - Full Day

      Early in the morning, you will visit the Sesriem Gate to the remarkable Sossusvlei. Climb picturesque Dune 45, experiencing the beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape. Off-road drive to the Dead Vlei, a place of the vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you have enough energy, you can climb one of the highest dunes on Earth, the โ€šBig Daddy โ€˜or โ€šBig Mama. After the morning excursion, you will return to Sesriem for lunch. Take a break for 1-2 hours. Later in the evening a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon.

  • Day 4 Sossusvlei-Walvis Bay - Swakopmund
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Sossusvlei-Walvis Bay - Swakopmund

      Today prepare your beach attire since you will leave the desert to the sea. Youโ€™ll have the chance to cross the Tropic of Capricorn, traverse the Gaub and the Kuiseb passes. Youโ€™ll be driven down to the dry river bed at the bottom of the Kuiseb Canyon where you can watch the spectacular desert landscape. Having arrived at the coast, on the way, youโ€™ll stop at Walvis Bay to enjoy the view of flamingos and other birds in the lagoons. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant.

  • Day 5 Swakopmund
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Swakopmund

      Explore the quaint town of Swakopmund. You may wish to book an optional day tour (for your own account) in Swakopmund (guided tour through the Mondesa township, quad-biking, sand-boarding, a scenic flight over the Skeleton coast, or a catamaran cruise in Walvis Bay). Many optional activities are on offer (for your own account); visit the aquarium, various museums, or the crystal gallery.

  • Day 6 Swakopmund -Cape Cross -Twyfelfontein
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Swakopmund -Cape Cross -Twyfelfontein

      In the morning, you will depart from the coastal town of Swakopmund to Cape Cross and Cape Fur Seal colony. After visiting the seals, we will turn east into the desert, towards Brandberg Damaraland, one of the most magnificent and majestic places in Namibia. In this area, you can find elephants, giraffes, ostriches and a variety of antelopes.

  • Day 7 Twyfelfontein, Bushman Rock Painting

      Twyfelfontein, Bushman Rock Painting

      Twyfelfontein is a rocky site situated in the Kunene Region of north-western Namibia. The site contains around 2,000 rock carvings and in 2007, UNESCO approved it as a World Heritage Site. The site is one of the largest and most important concentrations of rock art in Africa and was proclaimed a National Monument in 1952. Experience cultural and ethnic meeting with the Damara tribe at the Living Museum surrounded by fascinating nature, rock formations, and the magnificent landscape of Damaraland.

  • Day 8 Twyfelfontein - Etosha National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Twyfelfontein - Etosha National Park

      After breakfast, depart Damaraland and drive to the Etosha National Park. Visit a Damara village near Twyfelfontein and learn more about the culture and the tradition of this half-nomadic people. We are expected to arrive in Etosha in the afternoon. We will drive through some parts of the National park in search of various games. We will be at our respective accommodation just before sunset. Dinner will sum-up the adventure and rest will be required so that we can be able to wake up early and fresh for the full day game drive tomorrow.

  • Day 9 Etosha National Park- Full Day
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Etosha National Park- Full Day

      An early rise will be encouraged to have a feel of nature and the fresh breeze. Soon after breakfast, we will then start our game drive to allow us to have a magnificent exploration, we will visit the waterholes. We will get to visit the Etosha pan (salt pan) before game driving across the park in the expedition of coming across the Big 4 and other animal species. A light lunch will allow us to rest, gathering energy for our next adventure. After a short relaxation, we will then visit our last waterhole that will be the last appreciation of Namibiaโ€™s beauty. Before sunset, we will be back to our accommodation place so that we can have dinner as we share stories of our experiences of the day and also share and compare beautiful photos.

  • Day 10 Etosha - Windhoek
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Etosha - Windhoek

      Be prepared for the long, scenic transit back to Windhoek. We pass through towns and rural areas, stopping in the small town of Okahandja, the home of Namibiaโ€™s largest wood carving market. The stalls operate on a local co-operative basis and offer a vast array of truly Namibian souvenirs. We are due back in Windhoek in the afternoon before 16:00 unless prior arrangements are made. You will be dropped off at your accommodation.
