Itinerary of your trip 5 Days / 4 Nights Namibian Adventure (Camping)

  • Day 1 Day 1: Windhoek-Namib Desert

      Day 1: Windhoek-Namib Desert

      We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am, straight on the way south to world-famous Sossusvlei via picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. We will then have a stopover at the viewpoint to appreciate the endless view of the Namib. Our lunch at the Solitaire oasis We will arrive at the lodge or campsite at around 3โ€“4 p.m. This time of year is extremely hot, so we recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool. Early rest is required as you are expected to wake up early tomorrow morning.  Overnight at Soss Dune Lodge Campsite or Similar Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

  • Day 2 Day 2: Dune 45, Sossusvlei - Desert Experience
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Dune 45, Sossusvlei - Desert Experience

      Early in the morning, at sunrise, we will visit the Sesriem Gate to the remarkable Sossusvlei. We start off by climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing the beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape. Off-road drive to the Dead Vlei, a place of vast desert pans where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you have enough energy, you can climb one of the highest dunes on Earth, the โ€šBig Daddy โ€˜or "Big Mama. After the morning excursion, we will return to Sesriem for lunch. We will take a break for 1โ€“2 hours. Once the heat subsides, we will take a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon. This will be our last activity for the day.  Overnight at Soss Dune Campiste or similar Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

  • Day 3 Day 3: Sossusvlei To Swakopmund
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Sossusvlei To Swakopmund

      Today we will move from the desert to the sea. On our way, we will cross the Tropic of Capricorn and traverse the Gaub and Kuiseb passes, driving down to the dry river bed at the bottom of the Kuiseb Canyon before climbing up the other side and watching the spectacular desert landscape unfold before us. Having arrived at the coast, we will make a stop in Walvis Bay to enjoy the view of flamingos and other birds in the lagoons. We will take a short break for lunch. We overnighted in Swakopmund. Dinner tonight is at the clientโ€™s own expense at a local restaurant.  Overnight at Swakopmund Sands Accommodations: Breakfast, Dinner
