      Hanoi is a quiet and charming city thanks to its many lakes, green spaces and colonial buildings. In the afternoon, you will go on a city tour and visit the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the Jade Mountain Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter.



  • Day 4 Hanoi - Halong Bay (F/M/A)

      After breakfast, head to the unique Halong Bay. On your short cruise, enjoy the more than 2,000 islands of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, which rise in many sizes and whimsical shapes from the turquoise waters. Overnight stay on board the junk.

      You will have breakfast on board and then cruise through the island landscape until late morning. After disembarking in the morning, transfer to the airport and short flight to Hue. Transfer to the hotel. 2 nights in Hue.

      Hue was the capital of Vietnam between 1802 and 1945 under the emperors of the Nguyen dynasty. Todayโ€™s city tour in Hue (UNESCO World Heritage Site) begins with a visit to the Dong Ba market. Here you will find a colorful mixture of food, clothing and headgear such as the famous conical hats. The tour continues with a visit to the mausoleum of King Tu Duc, one of the most beautiful works of royal architecture in Vietnam. You will then visit the citadel with the old royal palace dating back to 1802.



  • Day 7 Hue - Danang - Hoi An (F)

      After a boat trip on the Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda in the morning, you will travel by car over the spectacular Hai An "Cloud Pass" to Hoi An. On the way, visit the Cham Museum in Danang. 2 nights in Hoi An.



  • Day 8 Hoi An (F)

      The tour of the old trading town from the 16th century (UNESCO World Heritage Site) begins at the Culture and History Museum. The old houses from the 19th century are still well preserved and narrow streets lead you down to the river. The Japanese Bridge, which separated the Japanese from the Chinese quarter, dates back to the early 17th century. The bridge, with a small temple attached, is now the official symbol of Hoi An. The tour ends with a visit to one of the historic houses in the old town.


      In the afternoon, take a river boat to the carpentry village of Cam Kim, where local craftsmen use 18th-century techniques to make fishing boats and furniture, and to the pottery village of Thanh Ha, where mainly simple ceramics for everyday use are produced.



  • Day 9 Hoi An - Saigon (F)

      In the morning, flight to Saigon. There you will go on an excursion to the famous Cu Chi tunnels, a 200 km tunnel system that was of great military importance during the Vietnam War. 2 overnight stays in Saigon.



  • Day 10 Mekong Delta (F)

      An excursion takes you to the impressive delta of the Mekong, the lifeline of Indochina. On board a typical boat, you will cruise along the canals shaded by palm trees and gain an insight into the lives of the river dwellers during a visit to orchards and private homes.



  • Day 11 Saigon (F)

      Half-day sightseeing tour in lively Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Among other things, you will see the War Museum, the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic post office, the opera house and the city hall. You will experience everyday life up close with the street vendors and traders in Ben Tanh Market and on Dong Khoi Street.


      In the late afternoon, transfer to the airport and departure to Germany.
