It's always in News that touts con the clients which are actually local people who claim themselves to be guides and many operators are promoting them. But we always follow the Guidelines of the Ministry of Tourism to ensure the safety and security of the clients. Yes as some small places and Temples/Monuments when there are No specific Licensed Guides available then only we recommend Local English speaking guides for that particular city or Monuments only.

Transport

All transfers and sightseeing by an air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking driver. Drivers of our vehicles are experienced with good knowledge of the road conditions and well trained. The type of vehicles provided are as follows : Passenger Vehicle type • 1-2 person Air-conditioned medium car such as Sedan /Toyota Etios or similar • 3-4 persons Air-conditioned large car such as Toyota Innova or similar • 5-10 persons Air-conditioned mini-van such as Tempo Traveler or similar

Accommodation

3 Star Deluxe Hotel having excellent reviews by the clients. Check-in and Check-out Time : General Hotel check-in time is at 14:00 HRS and checkout is at 12:00 HRS in India. If any early check-in is required then we only put a request to the Hotel while booking and the rest is on Hotel Management to decide further to accept or reject. So, this may not be always possible to manage early check-in for you; in that case, you won't be able to check-in immediately on arrival at some hotels. Instead, you can store your luggage and explore the new destination. • Pre/Post Accommodation : In some cases its seen that client needs to Prepone/postpone the Hotel nights during the trip and for that we try our best to arrange a room but in such cases if we fall under Hotel Cancellation policy and Hotels doesn’t allow that then the client has to bear the cost for the changes on Direct Hotel Payment basis. But still we will try our best to provide you same room for entire stay at whatever extend we can. Internet : India has internet coverage at every city and villages nowadays. But still depending on the areas in which you travel, you may have limited access to the Internet. Hoteliers often charge for the connection (hourly or daily). • The style of accommodation indicated is a guideline. On rare occasions, if the suggested hotels are not available due to high demand, we will book similar alternate hotels for you

Travel insurance is not covered in the tour price. You can organize travel insurance with your preferred insurance company.

Laundry • Charges, telephone bills, drinks, shopping, etc • Any items that is not mentioned under Inclusions • Tips : Tipping is a common custom and we always suggest our travelers to comply. No tip is compulsory, however in case of good services rendered, it is advisable to pay by a few rupees (driver / guide). For example, 200 rupees can be left in restaurants (depending on the bill amount), between 200 and 300 rupees per day per person for a good driver.

Flights

The domestic flight tickets are not included in the package cost. Once you tell us the dates of your travel, we will advise you the exact flight fare. International flight tickets have to be booked on your own, once you book your flight tickets, please share with us your schedule so that we can arrange your smooth pick-up and drop off from airport to hotel on your arrival day and hotel to the airport on the departure day. Passports and Visas : For India it's recommended to opt for Multiple Entry VISA with Proper vaccination (If mandatory) as per the Guidelines by the Embassy. If your itinerary includes travel to any other country besides India, please check on visa requirements for each country that you will visit. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility.

Welcome to India! Your trip begins in Varanasi, the oldest living city in the world. Also known as the city of temples, Varanasi is where Buddha is believed to have gone after attaining nirvana in search of his five disciples. The city is most accessible via a flight from Delhi. You'll spend your first day in the city visiting its important landmarks and the bathing ghats (platforms down to the river). You can also add on a visit to the Manikarnika burning ghats, riverside cremation sites. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at the Dashashwamedha Ghat.

Start your day with a boat ride on the Ganges river to enjoy the sunrise and the tranquility of the holy river and town. Once you're back on land, you'll visit the Sarnath Deer Park, where the Buddha gave his famous first sermon preaching the Middle Path to Nirvana. There are a number of other monuments, temples, monasteries, and stupas in the region that you can visit as well, should they pique your interest.

Continue your explorations of Bodhgaya today at your own pace. Pay a visit to the Mahabodhi tree under which Buddha gained enlightenment or the Mahakala Caves where Buddha came to realize the Middle Path philosophy. If you're in search of artistic creations, stop at the Buddha statue or the Buddha stone seat.

Day 5: Bodhgaya To Barabar Caves & Rajgir

Make your way to Rajgir today, starting with a detour into the Barabar Caves. Travel through the Barabar and Nagarjuni hills to reach some of the oldest rock-cut caves in India, dating back to the 3rd century BCE, and admire their ancient polish and the resonant echo effects. Continue to Rajgir, an important site for both Buddhism and Jainism as both Buddha and Mahavira are believed to have spent time there. Visit the Buddhist sites including Venuvana, the Vishwa Shanti Stupa, and Buddha's cave on Griddhakuta Hill. Then wash off some of the road dust with a dip in the hot springs at the Lakshmi Narayan Temple.

Day 7: Nalanda To Vaishali & Depart

Get up early on your last day to head to Vaishali, a small town set in the midst of rice fields, banana plantations, and mango orchards. Vaishali was the first place Buddha visited after leaving home and also where he gave his last sermon at Kolhu. The town is also important to Jainism, as it is believed to be Lord Mahavira's birthplace and home to the only complete Ashok pillar on earth, as well as some important stupas. After you've finished exploring the area, you'll head to the airport to catch your flight home or on to your next adventure.
