  • Day 1 Vancouver - Hope - Merritt - Kamloops - North Thompson River - Jasper

      Departing from Vancouver, we drive through the farming communities of the Fraser Valley.  STOP 1: Hope. Here we can stretch our legs and take a look at the colorful totem pole display in Thunderbird Park, which highlights the rich Native American history of the area. STOP 2: Continuing north, we stop in Merritt. A small city in the southern interior, beautiful and welcoming, it's home to the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame. Here we find a photo stop offering a beautiful, sweeping, panoramic view of the valley. STOP 3: Ascending into the Coastal Mountains, we follow the Coquihalla Highway to Kamloops. Kamloops is a city for every season. A place where you can skip the crowds, stretch your legs and escape to the unexpected. The birthplace of freeride mountain biking, Kamloops attracts bikers from around the world looking to ride the rugged landscapes. STOP 4: The North Thompson River.  Along the drive from Kamloops to Jasper, we follow the North Thompson River. This will offer us many spots where we can stretch our legs, get some fresh air and take asome beautiful photos. STOP 5: Jasper. Here, we spend the night.

  • Day 2 Jasper - Maligne Canyon - Athabasca Falls - Athabasca Glacier - Peyto Lake - Banff

      STOP 1: Maligne Canyon.  Maligne Canyon is a popular attraction in Jasper National Park, in Alberta. One of the most spectacular canyons in the Canadian Rockies, it features a series of narrow gorges and waterfalls carved out of limestone over thousands of years by the Maligne River. STOP 2: Travelling along the world-famous Icefields Parkway, our first stop is the Athabasca Falls. It is a breathtaking waterfall that is known for its powerful flow and scenic beauty. The falls are located on the upper reaches of the Athabasca River, which originates in the Columbia Icefield. STOP 3: Athabasca Glacier. The Athabasca Glacier is one of the six "toes" of the Columbia Icefield, located in the Canadian Rockies. It is approximately 6 km long and covers an area of about 6 square kilometers. STOP 4: Peyto Lake Peyto Lake is a stunning glacial lake located in Banff National Park. The lake is known for its bright turquoise color, which is caused by the rock flour (glacial sediment) that is suspended in the water. It's fed by the Peyto Glacier, located in the Waputik Range of the Canadian Rockies.  STOP 5: We make our way to Banff for the night.

      Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Banff National Park. Start your morning with a leisurely hike in Johnston Canyon and stroll along the shores of the picturesque, turquoise blue waters of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake.  In the afternoon, visit the world-famous Banff Springs Hotel and Bow Falls.  With your free time, you may also choose from optional activities such as soaking in the natural spa at the Upper Hot Springs or taking a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain.   Spend the night in Banff.
