After lunch visit religious complex Khasti Imam: consisting of Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum (XV century), Barak Khan Madrassah (XVI centure), Muy-Mubarak Mosque - storehouse of the well-known Koran of Khalif Osman (VII centure), Charsu Bazaar (X century), Tashkent metro stations.

Day 2 Tashkent - Termez

After breakfast drive to Shahrisabz (300 km, 4 h), the birthplace of Amir Timur situated in the beautiful yet rugged Zerafshan valley. Along the way we pass cotton plantations which form one of the largest sources of income for Uzbekistan. In Shahrisabz we explore the town’s famous monuments including the Kök Gumbaz Masjid, Hazrat-i-Imam Complex and Dor-ut-Tilavat Ensemble. We also visit Aq Saray Palace from where stunning views of the surrounding area can be enjoyed.

In the evening we continue by road to the great city of Samarqand, jewel of Central Asia and one of the key trading centres along the ancient Silk Route.

08:30 Check out from Hotel and transfer to Yurt Camp via Nurata city (250 km.) . Arrive in Nurata and visit Complex Chashma: fortress founded by Alexander the Great himself in the IV century BC, Juma mosque, bath-house and ancient mosque Panjvakta (XVIc.)

Later drive to Yurt Camp in Kyzyl-Kum desert: visit yurt camps and Aydarkul lake. (70 km). in the evening enjoy walking around lake and dessert. After sunset drive back to camp. Camel riding activities (10 min each person). Dinner at yurt camp. After dinner enjoy the traditional song by akin (a Kazakh singer with its musical instrument- dutar). Overnight in Kyzylkum dessert.

Day 7 Kyzylkum Dessert - Bukhara

Highlights: Potter family in Gijduvan city, Malik Sardoba, ruins of Caravan saray.

08:30 Check out from Yurt Camp and Transfer to Bukhara via Gijduvan city (230 km, 4 h). On the way to Bukhara visit Malik Sardoba and Malik Caravansaray. Sardoba is a giant water storage that was used to feed the camels on the silk road trade.

Then we will visit workshop of a famous Gijduvan potter. The potter will demonstrate us making ceramic dishes by using traditional way that was used many centuries.

Later drive to Bukhara city (40 km). Arrival in Bukhara. Check in hotel.

Make a coffee stop under water tower built in 1925. Then visit Citadel Ark (4th c. BC), Minaret Kalon (12th c.), Kalyan Mosque (12th c.), Medreseh Miri Arab (16th c.).

Make a herbal tea stop at Silk Road Tea House. Here, guests can try different types of herbal tea made in Bukhara with sweets.

Later we will visit 2 of the 20 Hammams that preserved after bombing Bukhara in 1920 by Russian Commander – Frunze. 1 Hammami Kunjak that for ladies only and

2. Hammomi Bozori Kord- for men. Later visit Coumpol bazaar, Medreseh Nodir-Divan-Beghi, complex Lyabi-Khauz (14-17th c.), .

Day 9 Bukhara - Khiva

After breakfast we check out and embark on a long train journey though the serene Kyzyl Kum desert to Khiva. 09:00 Departure from Bukhara. After a few hectic days this is time for some quiet contemplation and reflection, plus the opportunity to experience the sheer aridness of Central Asia’s desert environment. Upon arrival in Khiva at 15:00 we settle in. Overnight in Khiva.
