Today, we embark on a journey to explore some of these UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu. We will immerse ourselves in the rich history and significance of these cultural treasures.       The flight to Jomsom offers a remarkable experience as we soar northwest from Pokhara, passing through the impressive gateway formed by the snow-covered peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Along the way, youโ€™ll be treated to breathtaking views of massive mountains exceeding 8000 meters in height and witness the worldโ€™s deepest gorge. Upon arrival in Jomsom, our trek begins, taking us to the charming ancient village of Kagbeni, which serves as the gateway to Upper Mustang. Weโ€™ll spend the night at a teahouse in Kagbeni.

  • Day 5 Trek To Tselle (3050 M)

      After breakfast, we embark on our trek to Tselle. Tselle is a fascinating village where the culture transitions from the Manangi culture found in Jomsom to the Tibetan culture of Lo. The trek takes us through rugged and steep trails in arid terrain. Along the way, we pass through the small village of Chukshang, known for its world-famous apples that you can enjoy fresh from the orchards. Continuing our journey, we cross the Kali Gandaki River and ascend steeply through a rocky gully until we reach Tselle. Weโ€™ll spend the night at a teahouse in Tselle.

  • Day 6 Trek To Geling (3500 M)

      The trek continues with a challenging climb through steep, treeless, and waterless terrain, following the side of a spectacular steep canyon until we reach a pass marked by a cairn of rocks. This section of the trail is captivating, offering breathtaking views of barren cliffs and winding paths. After several hours of trekking, we will be arriving at the village of Samar.

      From Samar, the trail descends into a large gorge, leading us into another valley where we cross a stream. We then ascend to a ridge at an elevation of 3,800 meters. Continuing on, we pass over yet another pass, follow a ridge, and descend to reach Shyanbochen. From there, we make a gentle ascent to a pass at 3,770 meters and then descend to Geling Village, where weโ€™ll spend the night.

      After having breakfast at the lodge, weโ€™ll embark on our journey to Charang. The trail leads us through arid landscapes until we reach Ghami. Along the way, weโ€™ll pass by one of Nepalโ€™s longest Buddhist mani walls, adorned with prayer stones and surrounded by the stunning Himalayan scenery.

      Continuing our trek, we will finally arrive at the village of Charang, where we will spend the night.

      Following breakfast, we will explore the monastery in Charang village, immersing ourselves in the local culture and spirituality. Afterward, weโ€™ll set off on our journey towards the concealed Kingdom of Lo Manthang.

      The trail will continue to provide us with breathtaking views of various Himalayan peaks, including Annapurna I, Nilgiri, Tilicho Peak, and Bhrikuti. As we reach the capital of Mustang, Lo Manthang, we will settle in at a teahouse for our stay.

  • Day 9 Explore Lo Manthang

      Lo Manthang is a remarkable village adorned with splendid monasteries and immersed in captivating Tibetan culture. Spend a day delving into the rich tapestry of Lo Manthang as you explore its intricate alleys and discover the local way of life. During our explorations, we will also make a visit to the renowned Chosar Cave, situated a short distance from the capital. After a day filled with cultural immersion and discoveries, weโ€™ll spend the night at a teahouse in Lo Manthang.

  • Day 10 Trek To Dhakmar (3820 M)

      On the 10th day of our journey, we bid a fond farewell to the enchanting Lo Manthang and set our course for Dhakmar. The trail leads us through a series of ascents and descents, offering a variety of landscapes and vistas along the way. Our path takes us to the village of Ghar, where weโ€™ll have the unique opportunity to visit a 1200-year-old monastery, steeped in history and spirituality. Continuing our trek, we proceed toward Dhakmar village, where weโ€™ll rest for the night.

  • Day 11 Trek To Syanboche (3800 M)

      Following a hearty breakfast, we resume our trek towards Syanboche. Our trail will lead us through a series of caves, each with its own unique character and charm, as we make our way to Ghami. Along the route, weโ€™ll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, offering a glimpse of the terrain weโ€™ll traverse. As we continue our journey, weโ€™ll conquer two magnificent passes before reaching our destination for the night, Syanboche, where weโ€™ll find accommodations for a well-deserved rest.

      We bid farewell to the picturesque village of Syangboche and retrace our steps, trekking back to Tselle, where weโ€™ll spend the night.

      We bid farewell to Tselle and make our way back to Kagbeni, where our trek originally began. From Kagbeni, we will take a jeep to Jomsom, marking the last day of our trek before departing for Pokhara. Overnight at a teahouse in Jomsom.

  • Day 14 Flight To Pokhara

      Weโ€™ll catch a morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. Youโ€™ll have the entire day to explore Pokhara, a beautiful city known for its serene lakes and breathtaking mountain views. You can also indulge in adventure activities like paragliding, bungee jumping, and ziplining if you wish. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 15 Drive To Kathmandu

      Drive To Kathmandu

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll find yourself back in the city, refreshed and renewed. This evening is your free time, allowing you to choose how youโ€™d like to spend it. Whether you want to shop for souvenirs, pamper yourself at a spa, or explore more of the city, the schedule will be arranged based on your preference. If you feel tired or if the plans donโ€™t go as expected, we can make arrangements for these activities tomorrow morning before your flight. Overnight at the hotel.
