      Begin an exhilarating journey from Tuxtla Gutierrez airport to the Grijalva River, where you'll board a boat ride through the stunning Sumidero Canyon, a unique geological formation brimming with diverse flora and fauna. Then, we'll head to the historic colonial city of San Cristobal de las Casas, situated at 2,300 meters above sea level and founded in 1528 by Captain Diego de Mazariegos. This city  is home to rich history and tradition. Upon arrival in San Cristobal de las Casas, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring this charming city on your own. Overnight at the hotel, ready to continue your adventure the following day. Remember when your arrival to Tuxtla Gutierrez must be before 1:00 pm. otherwise, additional charge will apply to the price.

      This journey to the Indigenous communities of the Tzotzil ethnic group is a unique opportunity to broaden your horizons. Your first stop will be Chamula, where you'll learn and understand the fusion of contemporary traditions and ancient Maya features that define this place. Then, you'll visit Zinacantán, observe its church, and spend time with a local family where you'll be welcomed with a traditional drink and if you're lucky, you'll be invited to try hand-made tortillas.
