Welcome to Buenos Aires!! a transfer will be waiting for you ready to take you to your hotel in the city center. We recommend making a stop at one of the most emblematic cafes here in Buenos Aires: Cafe Tortoni with its French-style, opened in 1858.

The rest of the day is at your leisure to enjoy this incredible city.

At night a transfer will pick you up to enjoy an atypical dinner experience where you will learn about the Argentine culture, taste fantastic local dishes, drink exceptional wine, and mingle with fellow travelers in a fun setting:

This is a five main course dinner which includes:

Welcome: Wine- base cocktail and a Patagonia trout tartar.

Empanadas: You will learn how to make your own empanadas. Fillings are beef stew or capresse (cheese mozzarella and provolone, roasted cherries tomatoes and basil)

Picada: Typical Argentine cuts of meat to nibble.

Main Course: 200 grs of tenderloin accompanied by roasted vegetables

Desserts: Tasting of sweets and cheeses. Mate tasting and alfajores class dulce de leche mousse. After dinner we go back to our hotel.
Day 2 Buenos Aires - Ushuaia - Beagle Channel Boat Trip

Buenos Aires - Ushuaia - Beagle Channel Boat Trip

At the indicated time we transfer to Buenos Aires airport (AEP / EZE) to take our flight to our next destination: Ushuaia, the city of the end of the world.

Upon arrival a transfer will be waiting for us to take us to our accommodation.

In the afternoon we walk to the turistic pier from where we will start navegating throught the Beagle Channel. We will start toward Alicia Island, where we will find a colony of South American sea lions. Then we sail to Bird Island to watch king shags and imperial shags living close to their nests, and from spring through fall we can even find their breeds. Again, we head east towards another small island that, depending on the season, we can view South American fur seals. Very close to this island is Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, an authentic symbol of Ushuaia, built in 1919. From there we have a view of the island where rock shags live.

On our way back to Ushuaia, we disembark at Bridges Island to walk along a path for the interpretation of wildlife, while listening to the history of the native inhabitants, the Yamanas. On this island, we can find the largest Yamana’s “concheros” (shelly deposits) of the region. As this is the largest island, we reach the highest panoramic point from which we can enjoy amazing views of the Beagle Channel with the town of Ushuaia in the distance. During the trip, we offer coffee with liquor, different types of tea, a delicious hot chocolate with biscuits and cookies and, of course, the typical Argentine beverage, the mate. Then we go back to our accommodation.

Day 3 Tierra Del Fuego National Park With Train

Tierra Del Fuego National Park With Train

Leaving the city of Ushuaia, heading southwest, we will travel the national route No. 3, towards Tierra del Fuego National Park. After crossing the Pipo River bridge, next to the Ushuaia Golf Club, we will arrive at the station of the Austral Fueguino Railway, the End of the World Train. where we will get on board one of the most magical trains.

Along the road surrounded by Lenga forests and peat bogs, we will arrive at Lake Acigami (formerly Lake Roca), a lake of glacial origin, framed by mountains and forests, where it is possible to spot specimens of native birds. The last section of the tour takes us to Bahía Lapataia, after crossing the cormorant archipelago, peat bogs and a visit to a beaver dam.

In Bahía Lapataia, in addition to the marine coast, rich in mollusks and mussels, we will find vestiges of the ancient aboriginal people that inhabited the region. There we will have time to walk the walkway from which we can take pictures and enjoy the feeling of being at the end of the world. Then we will return to our accommodation in Uhsuaia.

Day 4 Ushuaia - El Calafate

At the indicated time we transfer to Ushuaia´s airport to take our flight to our next destination: El Calafate, the land of the glaciers. Upon arrival we transfer to our accommodation.

The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to visit the city on our own.

It is an excursion in 4×4 along the coast of Lake Argentino. Ideal for the day of arrival or departure, it has an anthropological approach, making a tour at the time about the passing of man in these lands, rediscovering the stories of the first expeditions and daring that ventured into the unknown.

Between the cliffs and overlooking the Andes Mountains, the excursion focuses on the first contacts of those expeditionaries with the natives, and then enter the Tehuelche world. On the banks of the lake are the caves where thousands of years ago that culture left its marks on the rock and that today induce us to its interpretation. Finally, the excursion culminates in another cave where lunch or dinner is included that will transport us to those remote years.

Perito Moreno Glacier With Safari Nautico Boat Trip

We dedicate this day to one of the World’s Natural Wonder: the Moreno glacier. This ice field- type glacier flows down from the Patagonian Icefield, a big sheet of ice that with its 22.000 square kilometers is the third largest glacier area in the world, after Antarctica (14 M sq km) and Greenland (1 M sq km). Because unusual favorable local conditions, this glacier is the only one in the world that shows a closure and rupture process. The road leads to the very front of the glacier, which will be only meters away from your eyes. The roar of the chunks of ice falling inside the glacier or from the glacier into the lake, the frequent collapse of the front seracs into the turquoise water, makes out of this day a very special and unique experience.

Then we wil go up to “Bajo de las Sombras” from where, you will board the catamaran boat to navigate the Lago Rico where your will be able to appreciate the amazing ice wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier and its icebergs. Then we go back to our accommodation in El Calafate.

Rancho Aparte experience will allow you to savor home-cooked meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The dishes are prepared with local products and a ubiquitous ingredient in homemade food...lots of love!

The menu is accompanied by selected wine pairings from Argentine and Patagonian wineries. Therefore, with each course we respect the aromas and flavors in a harmonious and palatable way. It has four fixed menus; two of them "traditional". They are based on regional cuisine and adapt the local products to a journey of unforgettable flavors. The other two menus are "vegetarians or vegans". They are designed so that those who choose this type of food can also enjoy this experience, where most of the ingredients used are selected from organic farms in the area.
Day 6 El Calafate

After breakfast the rest of the day is at leisure to do any of the optional tours that El Calafate has to offer us.

Optional Excursion Recommended: Full Day Tour El Chalten with Lunch

The excursion begins at 7.00 hs from El Calafate. We take the mythic Route 40, that goes along the Argentino Lake up to La Leona river. We will pass by the canyon with the same name “Cañadón La Leona” and after 1.15 h ride, we will arrive to the ancient route hotel "La Leona", almost a museum of the Route 40, where you can have coffee and cakes.

Our trip continues along the Lake Viedma, from where we will have magical views of glaciers, hidden lakes and the overpowering presence of the Mount Fitz Roy. We will make some photo stops at the viewpoint of the Viedma Glacier and Lake and after a 3 h ride we will arrive to this andean village called “The Capital of the Trekking”. As soon as we arrive at El Chalten we make another stop at the National Park Interpretation Centre. Upon arrival at El Chalten we will able to do some short treks in the area, for example Viewpoint los condors y las Aguilas or Chorillos del Salto. Then we will have lunch a nice restaurant before starting our way back to El Calafate.
Day 7 El Calafate - Iguazú

Today we transfer to El Calafate airport where we will take our flight to Puerto Iguazú. Our flight will probably make a stop at Buenos Aires airport before arriving at Puerto Iguazu.

Day 8 Visit Argentinian Side Of The Falls

Visit Argentinian Side Of The Falls

Today we will visit the Argentinian Side of the Falls. Upon arrival we will visit: Devil’s Throat Circuit: The astonishing beauty and energy of the sight thrill everyone, an exciting mixture of views and sounds. The Upper circuit, with magnificent panoramic views offers the smaller falls and islands of the Iguazu River delta. And the Lower circuit, strategically located walkways and bridges allow us a charming and intimate touch with nature, having different views of the falls from below.

Then we will go along 8 km route in all-terrain vehicle along the Yacaratiá Trail, to Puerto Macuco. Once we arrive we will get on board in semi-rigid gomones navigating 6 kilometers. Then, we will entrance to the Canyon of the Devil’s Throat with approximation to the jumps and disembarkation in the Island San Martin, heart of the Iguazú Waterfalls. Then we go back to our hotel.

Starting from the Operative Central or from the Visitor Center, you will enter the jungle through the narrow Yacaratiá Trail in units designed for this particular environment. This 5 km vehicular route culminates in the Puerto Macuco jungle base. After descending 100 meters you will arrive at the dock where you can board the boats with which you will go up 6 km up the Lower Iguazú river gorge towards the waterfall area enjoying the mighty rapids, to the base of the Tres Mosqueteros waterfall, watching the set of Brazilian waterfalls Argentines, with the Devil’s Throat crowning the view of the canyon. Later, you will reach the maximum point of emotion when facing the incomparable Salto San Martín, second in size and the largest that a boat can approach. To finish, we will disembark at the dock located in front of San Martín Island from where you can rejoin the walkway system, through the Lower Circuit.

Today we will visit the Brazilian Side of the Falls, this 175.000 hectares National Park thrills with its amazing beauty and biodiversity vegetable and animal species. Since 80% of the

total 275 falls pour their water in the Argentinian side, they show their beauty facing Brazil. The Brazilian side offers the most spectacular front panoramic views throughout the near a thousand meters walkway. At the end of it, facing Floriano fall there is a viewpoint that can be reached through the elevator, from where we will enjoy of one of the most extraordinary views of the waterfalls.

In the late afternoon we transfer to Puerto Iguazu airport to take our flight to Buenos Aires.
