At your arrival, you will be welcomed at IVATO international airport by our team, and then we will transfer you to the hotel. If time allows, we will give you some briefing of the tour.

Day 2 Antananarivo – Andasibe: Discovery Of Reptiles

Antananarivo – Andasibe: Discovery Of Reptiles

After breakfast, you will depart for Andasibe. On the way, you will make a visit of an exotic farm where reptiles, batrachians and mammals are together. After the visit, you will continue and move on to Andasibe. In the evening, a night walk along the way will be scheduled to discover the nocturnal animals living there.

Day 3 Andasibe: The Indri Indri, The Star Of The Day

Andasibe: The Indri Indri, The Star Of The Day

Early in the morning, you will depart for Analamazaotra special reserve. This day will be spent for meeting Malagasy fauna and flora. The Indri Indri, the largest lemurs on earth are in their natural environment. In the afternoon, you will visit the “vakona” private reserve and a lemur’s island.

Day 4 Andasibe – Manambato – Ankanin’Ny Nofy: Meeting With The Weirdest Lemur “Aye-Aye”

Andasibe – Manambato – Ankanin’Ny Nofy: Meeting With The Weirdest Lemur “Aye-Aye”

After breakfast, you will depart to Manambato the gateway to Ankanin’ny Nofy. You will cross the Rasoa Be Lake and you will follow the Pangalanes channel until Ankanin’ny Nofy by boat. At your arrival, you will install to the hotel. In the evening, a nocturnal visit to see the “Aye aye” is on the schedule.

Distance: 140 km by car – about 3 hours and a half

Ankanin’Ny Nofy: A Sanctuary Of Nature

In the morning, you will make a visit of the private reserve which offers variety of endemic plants and animals of Madagascar. The afternoon will be off in which you can take a walk along the edge of the channel, swimming or visiting surrounding villages.

Day 6 Ankanin’Ny Nofy – Toamasina – Mahambo: Cruise On The Pangalanes Channel

Ankanin’Ny Nofy – Toamasina – Mahambo: Cruise On The Pangalanes Channel

This day you will be transferred by boat to Toamasina. Operational since the first half of the 20th century, the channel of the Pangalanes allowed the whole oriental coast of Madagascar to forward their products toward the port of Toamasina. With its rickshaws and wide palm tree lined avenue Toamasina is Madagascar’s main commercial harbour. At your arrival in Toamasina you will be picked up and drive to Mahambo.

Day 7 Mahambo – Sainte Marie: The Paradisiacal Island

After breakfast, you will be transferred by boat to Sainte Marie. Encircled with sea in turquoise waters and with splendid beaches, Sainte Marie is a paradisiacal island. At your arrival in Sainte Marie, you will install to the hotel

Day 8 Sainte Marie: Relaxation At The Beach

Sainte Marie: Relaxation At The Beach

You will have these two days free on your own. So, you can spend them by renting motorcycles or bikes for a ride to Ambodifotatra. You can also go and watch the whales. The island of nattes, which is not far from the hotel, is also an ideal place for a day of excursion.

Day 9 Sainte Marie – Antananarivo: Flight Back To The Capital

After these few days of discovery and relaxation you will return back to Antananarivo. So according to your flight schedule you will be transferred to the Airport of Sainte Marie and take-off to the international airport of Ivato. At your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 10 Antananarivo: Amazing Visit Of Ambohimanga

Antananarivo: Amazing Visit Of Ambohimanga

After breakfast, you will make a city tour and discover its old architectures from the top end of the town and the administrative buildings. After that, you will go to Ambohimanga, the cradle of the Merina monarchy. There, the history of Madagascar will be brought closer. After the visit, you will go back to the hotel.

If time allows, you will go shopping at the craft markets to buy some souvenirs. Then, according to your flight’s schedule, you will be transferred to the airport and takeoff. With our gratitude, we will say “Thank you” and hopefully we shall meet again soon in Madagascar.
