At your arrival, you will be welcomed at IVATO international airport by our team, and then we will transfer you to the hotel. If time allows, we will give you some briefing of the tour.

Day 2 Antananarivo – Antsirabe: The City Of Water

Antananarivo – Antsirabe: The City Of Water

After breakfast, you will drive to Antsirabe. A foundry that manufactures various items made of aluminum is visited in Ambatolampy, the “city of rock”. Pots and dishes are mostly produced as these are used for everyday cooking of Malagasy. After driving for about two hours and half, you will arrive in Antsirabe, the "city of water" which is also known for its thermal bath.

Day 3 Antsirabe – Miandrivazo: The Village Of Miner Seeking Gold

Antsirabe – Miandrivazo: The Village Of Miner Seeking Gold

After breakfast, you will be transferred on rickshaw to make a visit of a workshop which transforms zebu horn into an object of decoration. After the visit, you will continue to Miandrivazo which is the gateway to the descent of the Tsiribihina river. You will pass through the villages of miner seeking gold.

Distance: 245 km by car – About 04 hours and a half.

Miandrivazo – Descent Of The Tsiribihina

Early in the morning, you will go to the landing stage for river cruise. On the shore, you can see the fishermen try to catch fish that will be cooked for lunch and children playing hide-and-seek on the banks. After several hours of navigation, settlement of the camp in tents on huge white sand which edged the river.

Day 5 Descent Of The Tsiribihina River

Descent Of The Tsiribihina River

After breakfast, you will continue the descent. On the way, grey and white herons decorate trees along the river in a calm and quiet cruise. As you proceed through the river, you will see an impressive waterfall of clear and limpid water offering different level of natural swimming pools in floor.

Day 6 Descent Of The Tsiribihina River – Bekopaka

Descent Of The Tsiribihina River – Bekopaka

The journey continues. At noon, you will arrive in Belo at Tsiribihina. The river cruise is over and a new adventure begins. Then, you will drive and continue on a red slope and through different villages. Late in the afternoon, you will arrive at the village of Bekopaka, the starting point in the national park of Bemaraha.

Distance: 100 km by car – about 04 hours – bumpy road

Bekopaka: Hiking Through The Tsingy Of Bemaraha

This day, you will explore the Tsingys of Bemaraha which have been classified as World Heritage since 1990 by UNESCO. Its sharpened peaks which form the calcareous massif reach up to 30 meters. At the same time, the diversity of the fauna and flora form the landscape.

Day 8 Bekopaka – Morondava: Sunset At The Avenue Of Baobab

Bekopaka – Morondava: Sunset At The Avenue Of Baobab

After breakfast, you will go back to Morondava by taking the junction of the road from the Baobabs in love to the Alley of Baobab. The baobab trees are specific to the area and Madagascar boasts six species out of the eight existing worldwide. After appreciating the beautiful sunset, you will continue to Morondava.

Distance: 200 km by car – about 08 hours – bumpy road

Morondava: A Day At Leisure

After breakfast, you will take canoe to reach the peninsula of Betania to see the daily life of the boat builders and the fishermen’s village there. You will have the afternoon free on your own. You can spend it by taking profit of the beautiful beach or by strolling around the city.

Day 10 Morondava – Antananarivo: Flight Back To The Capital

According to the flight’s schedule, you will leave the hotel and you will be transferred to the airport of Morondava and fly back to the Capital Antananarivo. At your arrival, you will be picked up and brought to the hotel.

Day 11 Antananarivo: Amazing Visit Of Ambohimanga

Antananarivo: Amazing Visit Of Ambohimanga

After breakfast, you will make a city tour and discover its old architectures from the top end of the town and the administrative buildings. After that, you will go to Ambohimanga, the cradle of the Merina monarchy. There, the history of Madagascar will be brought closer. After the visit, you will go back to the hotel.
