Itinerary of your trip The Joy Of Rafting In Trishuli River- Day Tour

  • Day 1 Day 1: Trishuli
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Trishuli

The Trishuli River originates from the Bhote Koshi, which flows from Tibet and passes through the Kerung Valley into Nepal from Rasuwagadhi. It merges with the Langtang Khola, Chillum Khola, and waters from Gosaikunda Lake to form the Trishuli. The river is a blend of these three tributaries and is renowned for being the most popular whitewater rafting destination in Nepal. Trishuli River rafting offers an exhilarating experience, taking adventurers through pristine natural beauty, scenic valleys, impressive gorges, unpolluted beaches, and exciting rapids. With rafting grades ranging from 3+ to 4, the Trishuli River is suitable for both beginners and experienced rafters, making it an excellent short trip filled with thrill and adventure.

      Trip Highlights:

      โ€ข Most popular whitewater rafting.

      โ€ข Witness unparalleled scenery.

โ€ข Explore impressive gorges and unpolluted beaches.

โ€ข Scenic drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara.

Start your day with an early breakfast at your hotel in Kathmandu or Pokhara, then drive to Charaudi, the starting point of your rafting adventure. Upon arrival, youโ€™ll meet your rafting guide, who will provide a brief on safety equipment and proper procedures before embarking on the trip.

During the rafting experience, youโ€™ll encounter several rapids, each with unique Nepali and English names that reflect their level of difficulty. Your guide will share fascinating stories behind these names as you navigate the thrilling waters.

After a short but exciting rafting session, enjoy a riverside lunch amidst the unique terrain of large boulders and rocks. Post-lunch, continue the adventure through the rapids, entering the stunning Trishuli gorge. Here, the canyon narrows, the walls steepen, and a lush canopy of vegetation surrounds you, intensifying the riverโ€™s current. The rapids grow in volume and frequency, offering an exhilarating ride through this scenic landscape.

As the adrenaline rush subsides, relax on your raft and observe the Majhi (fishermen) setting up traps and preparing their fishing lines along the riverbanks. The journey concludes at Jholungepul, named after an extensive suspension bridge. From here, youโ€™ll return to Kathmandu or Pokhara.
