At your arrival, you will be welcomed at IVATO international airport by our team, and then we will transfer you to the hotel. If time allows, we will give you some briefing of the tour.

Day 2 Antananarivo – Andasibe: Discovery Of Reptiles

Antananarivo – Andasibe: Discovery Of Reptiles

After breakfast, you will depart for Andasibe. On the way, you will make a visit of an exotic farm where reptiles, batrachians and mammals are together. After the visit, you will continue and move on to Andasibe. In the evening, a night walk along the way will be scheduled to discover the nocturnal animals living there.

Early in the morning, you will depart for Analamazaotra special reserve. This day will be spent for meeting Malagasy fauna and flora. The Indri Indris, the largest lemurs on earth are in their natural environment. In the afternoon, you will make a visit of a private reserve and a lemur’s island.

After breakfast, you will leave the hotel and depart for Antsirabe. On the way, you will make a stop at the foundry in Ambatolampy with its production made of aluminum. After having lunch at the place, you will continue the trip and you will arrive in the city of water in the afternoon. Installation at the hotel.

Day 5 Antsirabe – Miandrivazo: Continuation To Miandrivazo

This day you will drive to Miandrivazo. Along the way, you will visit the Andraikiba Lake with its sellers of precious and half precious stones. After that, you will continue the road; you will pass through the village of Betafo and other villages which reflect the way of life of the Malagasy population.

After breakfast, you will be picked up at the hotel and depart to Kirindy which is a privately managed forest where you will have the opportunity to discover in particular the "fosa" and the Baobabs. At your arrival, you will install at the hotel and in the evening, a nocturnal stroll will be scheduled.

This day, you will make a diurnal visit to explore the endemic fauna and flora of this private forest. After the visit, you go back to the hotel and then you drive to Bekopaka where you will find the amazing Tsingys of Bemaraha. This day, you will explore the Tsingys of Bemaraha which have been classified as World Heritage since 1990 by UNESCO. Its sharpened peaks which form the calcareous massif reach up to 30 meters. At the same time, the diversity of the fauna and flora form the landscape.

After breakfast, you will go back to Morondava by taking the junction of the road from the Baobabs in love to the Alley of Baobab. The baobab trees are specific to the area and Madagascar boasts six species out of the eight existing worldwide. After appreciating the beautiful sunset, you will continue to Morondava.

After few days of discovery in the western part of the island, you will move on to Antsirabe. You will pass through Mahabo, an ancient Sakalava royal village, and it is remembered for a notorious cruel king. Then, after few hours ‘drive and passing through several villages, you will reach the city of water. Installation to the hotel

After breakfast, you will be transferred on rickshaw and make a visit of a workshop that transforms zebu horn into an object of decoration. After the visit, you will take again the national road n°7 for Ranomafana. You will make a stop in Ambositra to admire the skills of the craftsmen of this city. Lots of Malagasy crafts are made there like marquetries and woodcarvings. Then, you will continue to Ranomafana and at your arrival, you will install at the hotel.

Ranomafana national park is rich in fauna and flora. It shelters different species of lemurs and interesting vegetation, which are endemic. Early in the morning, you will go for a walk about three hours in the forest. In the afternoon, a visit of a village called Tanàla will be in the schedule and after the visit you can optionally go swimming to the thermal pool.

After breakfast, you will drive to Ranohira. On the way, you will stop in Anja Private Park, which is managed by the village community. The story of « the three brothers » will be told once again by the local tour guide. Cattas lemurs offer joyful welcoming. Then, you will move on to Ranohira.

The village of Ranohira is the gateway to all excursions at Isalo national park, which is a huge massif, eroded at Jurassic time. After the visit, you will return back to the hotel.

Baobabs and multicolored Mahafaly tombs will accompany you along the way. At your arrival, you will make a visit of a private botanical reserve called “Arboretum d’Antsokay”. After the visit, you will continue to Ifaty.

Therefore, you can optionally follow these interesting activities.

After these few days of discovery, you will return towards Antananarivo the capital of Madagascar. Then, according to your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport of Toliara and takeoff at Ivato international airport.
