5 Days From Tangier To Marrakech

Once you reach the port or airport of Tangier, a member of our team will greet you, and it depends if we have enough time we might take a short tour of the city of Tangier, then head towards Chefchaouen through the picturesque landscape of the Rif Mountains.

We will begin our journey to Fes by way of Volubilis and Meknes after an early breakfast in your riad.Your local guide will take you on an exploration of a sizable Roman ruin in Volubilis where mosaics from the 2nd century B.C. will be on display. Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and the country’s capital during the 17th century, is the next stop. You’ll witness the renowned Bab Mansour Gate, the Sahrij, the irrigation-useful Souani Basin, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. We’ll travel to Fes after lunch and stay at a Riad in the medina, before continuing on to the city.

The exploration of Morocco’s oldest medina, which goes back to the ninth century, will begin after breakfast in your riad when our local guide picks you up. You will tour the medina’s twisting tiny lanes made of cobblestone, where donkeys serve as the primary form of transportation. The King’s Palace, the Nejjarine fountains, the famous (and obnoxious) tanneries, as well as the Jewish quarter, where, if you’d like, you can visit a synagogue in the mellah, are all included in your tour of the historical sites of the medina.
