From there, we descend to Goljang Valley, where weโ€™ll stop for lunch. This descent takes about an hour. Along the trail, we pass through several villages adorned with Buddhist chortens and mani walls. Gatlang, a picturesque Tamang village perched on a hillside amidst terraced fields, will be our overnight stop. You can choose to stay in either a lodge or a local home.

From Chilime, we will ascend, crossing a small hanging bridge before continuing to Tatopani. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the Langtang Range and Ganesh Himal. Tatopani, which means "hot water," is renowned for its natural hot springs where you can relax and rejuvenate. The locals believe the waters have healing properties that soothe aches and pains. We will stay overnight in a lodge.

      Day 4: Tatopani โ€“ Nagthali (3165M) โ€“ Thuman (2338M). Walk Approx. 7 Hrs

This will be the longest day of trekking. We start the morning with a climb to Nagthali, situated at an elevation of 3165 meters. Once a renowned meditation center for local monks and priests, Nagthali is the highest pass in the area. It is set in expansive high-altitude grasslands and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the snow-capped Langtang Lirung, Kerung, Ganesh Himal, and Sanjen Ranges.

Afterward, we descend to Thuman, a Tamang village with strong Tibetan influences. If weโ€™re fortunate, we might encounter large troops of Nepal Gray Langur Monkeys. The ancient monasteries and traditional houses with intricate wood carvings here provide an unforgettable cultural experience. We will stay overnight in a lodge.

We will trek through lush rhododendron forests and meadows on our way to Bridim, a Tibetan-influenced Tamang village nestled in the heart of the Langtang Himal. The village is comprised of about 43 stone houses, arranged in a Z-shaped pattern, with roofs made of split shakes. In Bridim, we might encounter other trekkers exploring the Langtang trail. We will stay overnight in a lodge or in a local home.
