      Today the guide will escort you to have a walking tour to explore the attractions in Amsterdam including the Jewish diaristโ€™s hidden place during the Nazis occupation - the Anne Frank House, Dam Square, Royal Palace, National Monument and Beguinage. Anne Frank, a Jew born in Germany, lived in Anne Frank House for three years and wrote diary to record the Nazi persecution to the Jews during World War II. The Royal Palace, the largest and most prestigious architecture masterpiece in Amsterdam from the Dutch Golden Age, is the seat of Dutch royal family, and is used to hold official receptions. The National Monument is the most important memorial to the Second World War and is recognized as the national heritage monument. On National Remembrance Day, the royal family and local residents will gather here to pay their respects to the soldiers who sacrificed themselves during the Second World War. Next, explore Floating Flower market. Later, we will have an one-hour canal cruise to explore Amsterdam and appreciate the most iconic landmarks along the way. After the visit, send you back to the hotel.

  • Day 3 Travel To Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam And Marken

      Travel To Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam And Marken

      Today, your driver-guide will send you to Zaanse Schans first, where you can take pictures of typical Dutch windmills that are still in use today. After that, we will drive to the Waterland area, passing through the beautiful villages Edam, Volendam and Marken. In Edam, we will get off the car to walk through historic sites like the square where the famous Cheese Market used to take place. Near Volendam, we will visit the local cheese producer, where the cheese production expert will explain how they produce Gouda and Edam cheeses. In the clogs factory, we will discover the secrets of this typical Dutch shoe. Then, walk by cozy fishermen houses in Marken, the fishing harbor, and the protestant church. Finally return to the Amsterdam hotel.

      Follow the guide to Van Gogh Museum in the early morning when it is less crowded. The museum preserves 200 most precious artworks by Van Gogh including masterpieces like Sunflowers and the Potato Eaters. Afterwards, visit the nearby Rijksmuseum with a skip the line ticket. The museum shows the art and history of Netherlands from Middle Ages to the present. We can appreciate the famous artworks during the Dutch Golden Age like Rembrandt van Rijnโ€™s Night Watch and Johannes Vermeerโ€™s the Milkmaid. In the afternoon, enjoy free time on your own.
