  • Day 1 Luang Prabang Airport Pick-Up

      Welcome to take our XX private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people. 


      On arrival in Luang Prabang, you will be picked up by your local guide and taken to your hotel. In the afternoon, you are free to relax and enjoy an orientation walk around the hotel area.

  • Day 2 Luang Prabang Highlights

      Luang Prabang Highlights

      After breakfast, you will be taken to the busy Morning Phousi Market for watching the famous daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms from the faithful residents. Then you will head to visit the Royal Palace Museum - the former kingโ€™s palace (closed on Tuesdays). There are many items nicely displayed, including rare furniture, traditional costumes, and arts, jewelry, ornaments as well as working tools and utensils. Later, you will visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Hmong Village, Ban Ou, Laoloum Village, and Ban Thapene, Khmu Village. Then drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Falls, where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails. Lastly, your guided tour today will round off at Wat Xieng Thong - a golden monastery built in the 16th century.

      Cruise Tour From Luang Prabang To Pakbeng

      Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and transfer you to the boat pier for the upstream cruise to Pakbeng. En route, you will stop to visit the famous Pak Ou Caves (Tham Ting) famous for thousands of Buddha images. For lunch, local food is served onboard. Then, you will have free time for relaxing in the afternoon until the boat arrives in Pakbeng at dusk. Here, you will retreat to your accommodation for the night.

  • Day 4 Cruise Tour To Houayxay

      Cruise Tour To Houayxay

      In the morning, your guide will meet you on the boat, which departs at 07:00 AM for continuing the trip up to Houayxay. On the way, you will visit a Hill Tribe village. Your guide will explain the way of living and the origins of these rural populations. The lunch will be served on board. On your arrival in Houayxay in the afternoon, you will be transferred to your hotel.

  • Day 5 Drive To Luang Namtha Via Nam Ha National Park

      Drive To Luang Namtha Via Nam Ha National Park

      After breakfast, you will be escorted to Luang Namtha. You will be driven through the Nam Ha National park, and arrive at Luang Namtha in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for checking in and relax.

  • Day 6 Luang Namtha Trekking
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Luang Namtha Trekking

      After breakfast, you will depart by Tuk-Tuk to the south via Doiluckkam (Lao word for Gold Mountain), which is about a 35 minutes ride. Your native guide knows the trail, forest, and herbal medicine. He will take you to venture all the way up the mountain, and deep into the Nam Ha National Protected Area. On this path, you will walk through a nice forest area, in which you may encounter or hear wild animals, birds and spot their tracks. Your guide will share some of his ancestral knowledge about the traditional use of medicinal plants, edible leaves, and show you some native skills for the hunting of wildlife. After having a traditional picnic lunch, you will then continue the flat and downhill path through the primary forest, within the Nam Ha National Protected Area, and you will finish your trek around Nam Ha, the Khmu Tribal village, which we will visit shortly after. The Tuk-Tuk will get you back to Luang Namtha town.

  • Day 7 Drive To Nong Kiaw

      Drive To Nong Kiaw

      After breakfast, you will be escorted to Nong Kiaw, a beautiful rustic little town on the bank of the Ou River in Laos. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

  • Day 8 Nong Khiaw Cruise To Muang Ngoi
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Nong Khiaw Cruise To Muang Ngoi

      In the morning, you will leave for Nong Khiaw and cruise up the Nam Ou River by a traditional longboat. Along the way, you will pass straight through Muang Ngoi at first and visit Ban Sop Jam village. This village is famous for its traditional Lao silk and cotton weaving, here you can purchase some beautiful textiles if you wish.

      After spending some time in the village, we turn around and return back downstream to Muang Ngoi. Upon arrival, we take some time to have a break and a coffee before heading off on a small trek which takes us through some gorgeous scenery consisting of limestone cliffs, mountains, and rice paddy fields. Along the trek, you will enjoy beautiful natural landscapes. Upon returning back to Muang Ngoi, you will board your boat for the cruise back down the river whilst watching the beautiful sunset over Nong Khiaw.

  • Day 9 Nong Khiaw Trekking To 100 Waterfall & Drive To Luang Prabang

      Nong Khiaw Trekking To 100 Waterfall & Drive To Luang Prabang

      You will start the day with a boat ride on the Nam Ou River to a small village, where you can learn about the way of life along this river. Then you will be guided to trek through small streams and rice paddies to reach the base of the 100 Waterfall. The next few hours you will see only water and jungle and hear the sound of clear waterfall cascades. The pools around you are very inviting for a refreshing splash.

      Your guide will lead you through the cascades and prepare a local style lunch on the falls in the middle of it. Then you will take a small villagersโ€™ trail from the top of the falls back down into the valley; along the way, you will take in views of the landscapes of the Nam Ou valley. Hiking back to the village, you will have more time to observe the daily life here before heading back by a small boat to Nong Khiaw. Later of this day, you will be taken to Luang Prabang.
