      Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, our representative will warmly greet you and assist with checking into your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring this historic and vibrant city at your leisure.

      After breakfast, we begin a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, renowned as the "city of glory." Our first stop is Durbar Square, the heart of religious and cultural life in Kathmandu. Here, ancient temples and splendid Newari architecture abound, including Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap, and Kumari Ghar, home to the Living Goddess.


      Next, we proceed to Swoyambhunath Stupa, one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, perched majestically atop a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. We then visit Pashupatinath Temple, a significant Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. While only Hindus can enter the temple courtyard, visitors can view it from the eastern side of the Bagmati River.


      Our final stop is Boudhanath, one of the largest Buddhist stupas globally. This imposing structure is adorned with four pairs of eyes, each gazing out in the cardinal directions, symbolizing vigilance over human conduct and prosperity.

      Early in the morning, we take a flight from Kathmandu International Airport to Lukla Airport and then begin our trek to Phakding. As we descend above lush farmlands, we pass through several Sherpa villages including Chheplung, Ghat, Sano, and Thulo Gumela. Along the way, we encounter shrines and monasteries such as Drangdrak Gompa and Pema Choling Gompa, offering breathtaking views of the sacred mountain Kumbila and its sister peaks Kusum Kanguru.

      Heading towards Namche Bazaar, our journey takes us through the hamlets of Zamphute and Tok Tok, where we are greeted by the dazzling peak of Thamserku shimmering in the sunlight, a companion throughout much of our trek. Passing through picturesque Sherpa villages like Benkar, Chumoa, and Monjo, we reach Utche Choling Gompa perched on a bluff overlooking the Dudhkoshi River. Continuing through the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, we complete half of our trek to Namche Bazaar. The second half involves a challenging ascent, especially towards the end, with a steep climb after Jorsale village and a dramatic high bridge over the Dudhkoshi River gorge just before reaching Namche Bazaar. From Namche, we are rewarded with our first view of Mt. Everest peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge, culminating in our arrival at Namche Bazaar after approximately 1.5km/0.9 miles.

      Namche Bazaar serves as an ideal place for acclimatization before continuing further into higher altitudes. Situated at 3420 meters amidst the Khumbu Himal range, it is the largest market in the Everest region and a vital trading center with the headquarters of Everest National Park. This legendary Sherpa town offers a sense of climbing into the upper realms of the Himalayas, filled with anticipation.


      During our stay in Namche, we can explore the bustling market, take leisurely walks around the valley to acclimatize to the altitude, and visit the local museum to learn about Sherpa customs and traditions. From here, we can also enjoy panoramic views of Everest and other towering peaks in the region.

      A recommended acclimatization hike from Namche Bazaar leads to the Everest View Hotel, situated at 3800m/12540ft. True to its name, this hotel offers stunning views of Everest, weather permitting, making it one of the best viewpoints in the area. Being the highest located hotel in the world adds an extra highlight to our journey.


      After enjoying the panoramic vistas, we continue our trek over the hill to Khumjung (3970m), a more traditional village compared to the bustling Namche. Nestled at the foot of the sacred mountain Khumbila, Khumjung is adorned with numerous Mani Stones and both ancient and newer stupas. It is also home to a renowned monastery, which houses what is reputed to be a yeti scalp.

      We descend towards the Dudh Koshi River, crossing a suspension bridge that leads us through pine, juniper, and birch forests up to Debouche at 3710m. Along the way, we pass by old Mani walls, continuing further up to Tengboche. Tengboche is a renowned religious site in the Khumbu region, famous for its active monastery that attracts numerous visitors. The monastery, perched on a ridge top, offers breathtaking views of the Everest landscape. The morning view from this spot is particularly mesmerizing and is considered one of the most magnificent in the world.

      Today, we trek back to Namche Bazaar. The journey from Tengboche to Namche covers an easy six-mile trek, winding through serene forests and encountering trekkers embarking on their adventures.
