We have fantastic qualified local guides cycling with clients. They are very knowledgable and have vast experience in cycle touring. There is also a back up vehicle with a driver to assist on tour.

Meals

Breakfasts will be had at the hotel or accommodation establishment. Cycling is energy intensive so we do recommend you plan for a morning or mid-morning snack on the road at a local cafรฉ or market. Water is potable in almost all hotels, if there is a problem, we will advise you. Back up vehicle also carries water. Lunches together are often pre-planned and pre-ordered. Pre planned meals allow us to provide a variety of regional specialties and facilitate efficient service. Dinners are not included but your guide will make sure to give you some local tips. One evening a South African braai is included for you and will be prepared by your guides. Transport

Giant Front suspention Mountain Bikes or E-Bikes available You are welcome to bring your own bike. Back up vehicle with a bike trailer will be along the route during the tour to move luggage and tired cyclists! Transport back to Stellenbosch after tour finish in Hermanus is included. Please enquire about optional transfers from Cape Town before or after the tour.

Accommodation

We have carefully chosen all our accommodations for their charm and location. On this tour we book beautifull chalets with 2 en suite rooms and also including a lounge and kitchen area. We prefer accommodation near interesting sites in the centre of town or in the best location on wine estates en route. Twin, double or single room options are available.
