NAVIGATION AROUND PUNTA DA PIEDADE AND ITS CAVES (1 HR)(30 EUR) The caves of Ponta da Piedade, in Lagos, are among the most popular and unmissable attractions of the Algarve coast. They are cliffs with spectacular panoramic views of pinnacles and rocky outcrops shaped by the action of the sea, among which are hidden grottoes, caves and arches that complete a surprising landscape, some of the formations resemble well-known figures such as the Titanic, the Elephant, the Cathedral, among others. Departing from Marina de Lagos, our certified local guides will share the secrets, culture and history of this wonderful coast. - Bus transfer to the embarkation and disembarkation point. - Boat tour - Sanitized life jacket - Local guide on board.. 5 number of people required.

      Welcome to your tour with Europamundo!Weโ€™ll depart early for southern Portugal, enjoying beautiful landscapes as we cross the long bridge over the Tagus River. Upon arrival in the Algarve, the southern region of Portugal, weยดll explore the historic city of Lagos, known for its port from where Portuguese ships once sailed to Brazil, and its charming historic center enclosed within ancient walls. There will be time for lunch. In the afternoon, weยดll travel to the westernmost point of continental Europe amidst windswept cliffs to discover Cape St. Vincent. Nearby, weยดll have the opportunity to photograph the historic Sagres fortress. Later, weยดll spend time in Albufeira, a stunning coastal city where you can relax on its beaches or wander through its lively historic center. Accommodation will be provided in Albufeira or a neighboring city in the Algarve.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Albufeira, Mรฉrtola, Evora, Lisbon

      Day 2: Albufeira, Mรฉrtola, Evora, Lisbon

      Weโ€™ll continue our journey towards the Alentejo region, starting with Mรฉrtola, a town-museum on the banks of the Guadiana River. This walled town, an important center from the Muslim era, is dominated by its large castle that invites us to stroll through its streets lined with white houses and corners full of history. Next, weยดll head to Beja, one of the oldest cities in the country famous for its large fortress of Roman and medieval origin. Weโ€™ll have time to walk around and enjoy lunch in the historic center, with its narrow streets and picturesque squares. Our journey will continue to ร‰vora, where weยดll visit the Chapel of Bones (admission included). After, weโ€™ll have time to explore this walled city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its medieval palaces, Gothic religious buildings, and ancient Roman temple. Finally, weโ€™ll head to Lisbon, arriving at the end of the day.
