Hygieneprotocol

We would like to inform you that starting from January 01st, 2023, Cambodia local authority no longer requires travelers to present Vaccination Certificate or any documents regarding the Covid-19 upon entry into the country. You are free to enter Cambodia without any such documents. However, we strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance before traveling to Cambodia. While it is not compulsory, it is highly recommended as it can provide you with protection and peace of mind in case of unforeseen circumstances.

If you plan to arrive before the scheduled departure date of your trip or depart later than the trip’s end date, you need not worry about your airport pick-up and transfer. Our services are available for you flexibly, and we can arrange for your transportation to and from the airport accordingly. We would like to emphasize that all transfers are included in your booking, and you don’t have to pay any additional costs for these services. Additionally, if you require pre or post-trip accommodation, we can arrange for you to stay at the same hotel where your tour is scheduled. This ensures that you have a seamless travel experience and can fully enjoy your time in the destination without any worries. For any flights included in the itinerary, plane transportation will be arranged with reputable airlines to ensure a safe and comfortable journey. For boat trips, comfortable and secure vessels will be used to take you to your destinations. Our boats are equipped with life jackets and other necessary safety equipment, and operated by experienced and licensed captains. We take your safety and comfort seriously and strive to provide the best transportation options for your travel needs.

Today, you will arrive in Siem Reap and be warmly welcomed by a tour guide and car driver at the airport. They will transfer you to Siem Reap City, where you will visit the Angkor Complex.

First, you will visit Angkor Thom, a fortified city that covers an area of 10 square km. The city is enclosed by a wall and wide moats and includes many of Angkor’s most popular sights. You will enter through the monumental South Gate, which is over a causeway lined on either side by statues of demons and gods, each carrying a giant naga. You will continue to the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper Kings, which were former spaces for public ceremonies and are both adorned with dramatic bas reliefs. After that, you will visit the ruined Baphuon, Royal Enclosure, and Phimeanakas before continuing to the mysterious Bayon Temple. This temple is one of the most popular and compelling in Angkor. You will explore the galleries of beautifully preserved bas reliefs and ascend narrow stairs to reach the central sanctuary, where you will find giant stone faces smiling enigmatically down at you from every angle.

Later in the day, you will visit a temple to watch the sunset over the Cambodian countryside from the upper terraces of an ancient Angkorian temple. Afterward, you will return to your hotel for check-in and spend the night in Siem Reap.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will spend the entire day visiting the most famous temple on the plain of Angkor, which is Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag, and the 12th-century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. The five towers of Angkor Wat symbolize Meru’s five peaks. The enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world, and the surrounding moat represents the ocean beyond.

You will have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your visit. You will visit the South Gate, which has huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk. You will also visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), Bayon temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the evening, you will witness a beautiful sunset at Angkor Wat. You will spend the night in Siem Reap.

More Sightseeing In Siem Reap (B, L)

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will drive through the typical Khmer countryside to the holy Kulen Mountain range, which provided some of the stones used to build the Angkor temples. The drive up to the mountain top will offer beautiful sceneries to admire. The vehicle will take a steep dirt road to the top of the mountain, where you will first see the site of the Lingas carved in the riverbed by successive kings of the Angkor period. A further walk will take you to the site of a huge natural rock with a big reclining Buddha carved on top of it. You can also visit a waterfall during your walk, so remember to bring your swimsuits and join the locals. Above the waterfall, you can discover more carvings in the riverbed. This area is also a very popular place for Khmer people to come and enjoy their holiday with a picnic. After your visit, you will transfer back to the hotel for check-in. You will spend the night in Siem Reap.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your tour guide and car driver. You will start your sightseeing tour with a visit to the scenic beauty of Phnom Penh, the capital and largest city of Cambodia. Your first stop will be at the famous Notorious Tuol Sleng Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. These locations offer a sobering reminder of Cambodia’s past and the atrocities committed during the Khmer Rouge regime. Your tour will also include a visit to the popular Russian market, a lively outdoor market where you will find antiquities, jewelry, and various remarkable souvenirs from Cambodia. After your tour, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. You will spend the night in Phnom Penh.

The coach will either have soft seating or sleeping arrangements, depending on your preference. You will be sharing the coach with other passengers, which can be a great opportunity to meet other travellers and share experiences.

Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful landscapes, passing through rural areas and seeing local villages. Your guide will be with you during the journey, sharing insights and answering any questions you may have.
