Flights

Schedule flight tickets for Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu to all the climbing members, Sherpa guide.

Accommodation

2 Night hotel accommodation in Kathmandu including breakfast. Trekking Lodge/teahouse and tented accommodation during trekking and climbing session

Meals

3 meals a day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner with tea/coffee available in the tea house/hotel/lodge during the trek. 3 fresh & hygienic meals a day: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served at base camp.

Trekking permit (Sagarmatha national park entry fee). TIMS card (Trekking Information Management System). Climbing permit of Nepal government to Mera Peak First aid medical kits for the group and the staff. Tips for the guide, porter, and driver (tipping is expected) Please be advised that if you need to return early from the trek due to reasons such as sickness, unfavorable weather conditions, personal issues, itinerary modifications, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the following conditions apply: - Any payments made for flights, hotel accommodations, mountain room bookings, meals, and related expenses are nonrefundable. - You will be required to cover the costs of hotel stays, meals, and other expenses in Kathmandu independently. Additionally, please note that during the months of March to May and September to November, all flights will depart from Ramechhap. It will be necessary for you to make a 4-5 hour drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap in order to catch your flight. Kindly consider these terms and arrangements carefully before commencing your trek.       Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, our representative will be there to greet you. They will assist you with the check-in process at your hotel in Kathmandu. You can choose to rest or visit our office for additional information about your trip. In the evening, join us for a welcome dinner.

      Early in the morning, we will take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. From Lukla, we will begin our trek through a dense forest, following the trail below the Kalo Himal Ridge. Sticking together as a group is important due to various trails in this section. Our destination for the day is Chhutang.

      Leaving Chhutang, we will ascend gradually and then steeply as we head towards the Zatrawala Pass at 4600 meters. The climb to the pass offers magnificent views of peaks like Numbur Himal, Kongdi Ri, and Karyolang Peak. After reaching the pass, we will descend to Tuli Kharka.

      Our trail from Tuli Kharka involves both uphill and downhill trekking through dense forests filled with rhododendron, oak, pine, and juniper trees. Along the way, we will be rewarded with stunning views of Mera Peak and other snow-capped peaks. After a steep descent to the Hinku River, we will climb uphill to reach Kothe.

      The trail from Kothe follows the ridge of the Hinku River towards Gondishung. As we pass through Lungsumgba Gompa, we can admire the rock carving architecture depicting Mera Peak and its route. The trek continues on an easy trail leading to the summer grazing area of Thangnak, where there are shops and tea houses.

      From Thangnak, we will cross over the lateral moraine towards Hinku Nup and Shar Glaciers. The trek involves a steep climb to reach Khare, where we will be greeted by the magnificent view of the Northern Face of Mera Peak. Khare also offers opportunities for exploration and acclimatization.

  • Day 7 Acclimatization Day At Khare

      Acclimatization Day At Khare

      To acclimatize to the higher altitude, we will spend a rest day at Khare. Our Sherpa team will conduct necessary checks on our climbing gear and ensure our readiness for further ascent. This day allows us to adjust to the altitude and explore the surroundings.

      Leaving Khare, we will climb over Mera La Pass and continue along a rocky and often snow-covered trail to reach Mera Peak High Camp. Our Sherpa team will set up the camps and conduct health and gear checks. From the high camp, we can enjoy breathtaking views of Everest, Makalu, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, Baruntse, and Chamlang.

      Today is the day we have been waiting for. Equipped and acclimatized, we will start early in the morning to reach the summit before noon. After a challenging climb, we will be rewarded with stunning views of the worldโ€™s highest peaks. We will then descend using the same route and return to Khare for our overnight stay.

      Trek From Khare To Kothe

      Having achieved our goal of summiting Mera Peak, we will retrace our steps from Khare, passing through Thangnak, and continue towards Kothe. The trek involves mostly downhill trekking, as we leave the high altitudes and enter the lush sub-tropical forest filled with rhododendron, oak, pine, and birch trees.

  • Day 11 Trek From Kothe To Tuli Kharka

      Trek From Kothe To Tuli Kharka

      Leaving Kothe, we will trek uphill through dense rhododendron forests, heading towards Tuli Kharka. From Tuli Kharka, we can enjoy magnificent views of Mera North, Mera Central, and the south face of Mera Peak.

  • Day 12 Trek From Tuli Kharka To Lukla Via Zatrawala Pass

      On this final day of our trek, we will ascend towards the Zatrawala Pass and then descend to reach Lukla. The trail offers beautiful views along the way. In the evening, we will celebrate the successful climb of Mera Peak.

  • Day 13 Flight Back From Lukla To Kathmandu

      We will take an early morning flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day at your leisure, either resting or exploring more of Kathmandu.
