      Your first day of Short Everest Base Camp Trek starts after a 30 minutes exhilarating early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2820m), your trekking starts for Phakding. The mountain flight offers stunning aerial views of the Himalayan range, setting the tone for the remarkable journey ahead.


      From Lukla, the trek commences with a gentle descent towards Phakding (2640 meters) which takes about 2 to 3 hours. On the way you will explore picturesque villages, lush pine forests, and alongside the Dudh Koshi River. Youโ€™ll cross a suspension bridge adorned with colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Overnight stay at lodge at Phakding.

  • Day 2 Phakiding To Namche Bazaar (3460 M) Trek, 6 -7 Hours

      On the second day of Short EBC Trek, your trekking will start after breakfast in Phakding. The trek continues towards Namche Bazaar, the bustling heart of the Khumbu region. You will be crossing several suspension bridges, passing through rhododendron and pine forests, and entering Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. A steep ascent awaits before reaching Namche Bazaar, a Sherpa capital in Everest.


      You will see the first glimps of Mount Everest from Top Danda just before reaching Namche after crossing Hillary Bridge.

      Namche Bazaar, situated at 3460 meters, is a vibrant Sherpa town with numerous shops, cafes, and a lively market. It serves as a crucial acclimatization stop and offers various amenities for trekkers. You will stay overnight at Lodge at Namche.

  • Day 3 Trek From Namche To Tengboche (3860 M)

      On the third day of Short EBC trekking, your todayโ€™s journey takes you from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche Monastry, Tengboche is the spiritual heart of the Khumbu region and itโ€™s a biggest monastery in Khumbu. The trek begins with a relatively easy walk, offering splendid views of Ama Dablam, Everest, and other peaks. The trail then descends to Phunki Tenga, crossing the Dudh Koshi River before a challenging uphill climb through pine forests to Tengboche.


      At an elevation of 3860 meters, Tengboche is renowned for its stunning monastery and panoramic views of the Himalayas, including the majestic Everest. Overnight stay in lodge for rest.



  • Day 4 Trek From Tengboche To Dingboche (4410 M)

      Early morning after breakfast at Dingboche, todayโ€™s hiking descends through rhododendron forests to Deboche and crosses the Imja Khola River. After crossing the river we ascent towards a traditional Sherpa village at Pangboche. From here, the path gradually climbs towards Dingboche, passing through beautiful landscapes adorned with mani stones and chortens.


      Dingboche, at 4410 meters, is a picturesque village offering spectacular views of Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Island Peak. During the trekking, many trekkers spend extra day here for acclimatization. Overnight stay at lodge at Dingboche.

  • Day 5 Trek From Dingboche To Lobuche (4910 M)

      The fifth day of Short Everest Base Camp trek from Dingboche to Lobuche is a gradual ascent, taking you through a barren landscape dotted with boulders and memorials for climbers who lost their lives in the mountains. On the way you will explore the Himalayan views, villages and beautiful landscape which makes the hiking worthwhile.


      Lobuche (4910 meters) is a small settlement primarily serving trekkers and climbers. The thinning air and higher altitude make it a challenging day, but the breathtaking scenery and sense of achievement keep spirits high. Overnight at lodge.

  • Day 6 Trek From Lobuche To Gorakshep (5180 M)

      Trek From Lobuche To Gorakshep (5180 M)

      Todayโ€™s trek leads you to Gorakshep, the last stop before Everest Base Camp. The trail is rugged and challenging and follows the Khumbu Glacier, with awe-inspiring views of Pumori, Nuptse, and other peaks.


      At 5180 meters, Gorakshep is a sparse settlement with a few lodges catering to trekkers. After checking into your lodge and a short rest, youโ€™ll embark on the final stretch to Everest Base Camp. The trek to base camp is a surreal experience, offering close-up views of the Khumbu Icefall and Everest itself. Stay overnight at lodge in Gorakshep.

  • Day 7 Early Morning Hike To Kala Patthar (5545 M) And Descent To Pheriche (4220 M)

      Early Morning Hike To Kala Patthar (5545 M) And Descent To Pheriche (4220 M)

      Rise early round 5 am to hike our final top destination of the trek, Kalapathar. You will reach Kala Patthar at 5545 meters which is challenging but incredibly rewarding. From the summit, youโ€™ll witness one of the most breathtaking views of Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, and the surrounding peaks bathed in the morning light. You will enjoy the perfect moment to capture the grandeur of the Himalayas and close up view of Mount Everest.


      After descending from Kala Patthar, youโ€™ll trek back to Gorakshep for breakfast before continuing the descent to Pheriche. The trek to Pheriche is a gradual descent, offering a chance to breathe easier as you descend to 4220 meters. Stay overnight at lodge.

  • Day 8 Trek From Pheriche To Namche Bazaar

      Retrace your steps from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar, enjoying the easier descent and the familiar trail. The journey takes you through Pangboche, Tengboche, and other picturesque villages, offering a different perspective on the landscapes you traversed earlier.


      Upon reaching Namche Bazaar, youโ€™ll enjoy the modern life of Everest Base Camp Trek with different facilities available. Overnight at Lodge.

  • Day 9 Trek From Namche To Lukla

      The final leg of the trek takes you from Namche Bazaar back to Lukla. The descent involves crossing several suspension bridges, passing through lush forests, and revisiting the friendly villages along the Dudh Koshi River.


      Arriving in Lukla, youโ€™ll feel a sense of achievement and nostalgia. This is your last night in the mountains, so take the time to celebrate with your fellow trekkers and guides. Enjoy a warm meal and a comfortable bed, reminiscing about the unforgettable experiences of the past days.

      Bid farewell to the Khumbu region as you board an early morning flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. The flight offers a final glimpse of the Himalayan peaks, a fitting conclusion to your trekking adventure. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, youโ€™ll be transferred to your hotel. Spend the day relaxing, exploring the city, or indulging in some well-deserved luxury.
