  • Day 1 Drive From Kathmandu (1400M) To Besisahar (825M) And Drive To Chame (2670M)

      The drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar is 175km and takes around 7 hours along a scenic route. The drive takes you through the most beautiful countryside view and natural scenery. The green hills, tranquil flowing Trishuli River, terraced fields and small villages will give you goosebumps at times. Another drive from Besisahar to Chame takes around 3 to 4 hours. Chame is the district headquarters of Manang and offers majestic views of Annapurna, Manaslu and Lamjung Himal. Enjoy the ride as you pass small village settlements through lush pine forests. Overnight in Chame tea house

      The trek officially starts off today as you walk along the bank of rushing Marsyangdi River making your way to Telekhu via dense pine forest. The pleasant walk along the forest continues to Brathang. As you cross a suspension bridge over the Marsyangdi River beneath the sacred Hindu pilgrimage site, Swarga Dwari, you will be pleased with the mountain views. The Walking trail takes you to the valley of Pisang as you pass some more pine forest. Overnight in Pisang tea house

      As you make your way out of the hotel, the height now slowly increases to 3657m as you reach Ngawal for the night stop. The trail today too passes through pine and juniper forests with the alluring background of tranquil Himalayas. After crossing the suspension bridge over the Khumi Khola, make a stop at Ghyaru and admire the 360-degree panorama of Annapurna II (7937m), Lamjung (6983m), Tilicho Peak 7134m), Pisang Peak (6091m) and many more. Walking past the Tibetan-styled village, you will enter the territory of Ngawal and get the sight of Humde airport and Pisang village. Overnight in Ngawal Teahouse

      With this trek, you are a step closure to the final summit. The trail passes through pine and juniper forest along with the sights of the glorious mountains. Walk past the monastery and ethnic settlements before arriving in Manang. The vegetation slightly changes after Humde and is mostly rocky ridges, dry and deserted. The village of Manang and Mustang has gained popularity among local tourists as a village beyond the Himalayas and is the most visited place in Nepal. Overnight in Manang Teahouse

      As you already gained height above 3500, today you will take a dayโ€™s rest. After enough sleep in the lap of the Himalayas, hike to the Gangapurna Lake to gain some altitude for the next day or roam around the village and chit-chat with locals. Enjoy the views of the Himalayas as you sip tea and spend the day on your own. Overnight in Manang Tea house

      Continuing your journey, today you will leave Marshyangdi River behind and ascend your way to Gunsang. Gunsang offers a magnificent panorama of mountains and from here after you pass some meadows and a suspension bridge over Thorung Khola you make your way to the night stop, Yak Kharka

The meadow surrounded by the cliffs sometimes has special guests like blue sheep and leopards. You will get their sight if you are lucky enough. Overnight in the tea house of Thorang Phedi

      The most challenging yet rewarding part of the trek awaits you as you hike from Thorang Phedi early in the morning before the weather worsens. The trail leads all the way to pass and offers panoramic views of the Himalayas. Thorang la Pass is the longest pass in Nepal and proffers captivating views of Annapurna, Gangapurna and Khatung Kang. Descending down the pass you will enter the Muktinath. Muktinath is the sacred Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to lord Vishnu and has 108 water sprouts. The water from the sprouts is supposed to be holy and believed to wash off sins. Muktinath also has Buddhist monasteries. Overnight in Muktinath tea house.

From terraced fields to highland hills, from mountain views to the views of small huts and houses, the journey is nothing but an exploration of the part of Nepal you have not ever discovered. Overnight in Pokhara Hotel
