Day 1 Shanghai - Huangshan

Shanghai - Huangshan

Welcome to take our China private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people.

Today, you need to go to the train station of Shanghai by yourself and take the train for about 2.5 hours to Huangshan. We will book the train tickets for you in advance. After arrival, your guide will pick you up and greet you warmly at the exit of the train station. Then we will head to the Huangshan Mountain by 1 hour’s drive. After getting there, take the cable car to go uphill. Next, we will enjoy a hiking tour to visit Beginning to Believe Peak, one of the ten famous pines Black Tiger Pine, The Flower Grown out of a Writing Brush Rock, Monkey Gazing at the Sea, etc. Follow your guide to appreciate the wonderful sunset at Cloud Dispersing Pavilion if weather permits. Finally, we will check in the hotel.
Day 2 Haungshan - Shanghai

Haungshan - Shanghai

If the weather is fine, you will see the sunrise today which is usually during 04:30 - 06:00. So we are supposed to get up early today. Afterwards, enjoy a breakfast at the hotel. Then start today’s tour to West Sea Valley. Along the way, you will appreciate the most wonderful scenery along the plank road of Huangshan Mountain, the strange pines, absurd stones and the sea of clouds.

At around 12:00, we will go downhill and have lunch. Then, your guide will lead you to the Bishan Village. It is reputed as the most beautiful art village in China. Local people here live a simple and peaceful life by farming, raising silkworm, picking tea and making handcrafts. Visit Bishan Bookstore, which is rated as “the most beautiful bookstore in China’s countryside” by CNN. Another site that you cannot miss is Bishan Crafts Cooperatives. It was originally the local supply and marketing cooperatives built in 1962, and has reestablished as a place displaying and selling a wide variety of handicrafts and collectibles like spinning, rattan wares, woodworking and etc. In the end, you will be sent to the train station for the train back to Shanghai.
