Itinerary of your trip 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Fly-In Lodge Safari From Zanzi

  • Day 1 Zanzibar To Central Serengeti
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Zanzibar To Central Serengeti

Arrive at Seronera airstrip at approximately 11:00 Hours. At hand to receive you will be our safari guide who will have a picnic lunch for you and be ready for the safari. You will embark on your safari stopping at around 1300 hours for lunch. You will continue with your game drive in search of the big cats of Serengeti and other ungulates. You will drive back to Serengeti Heritage or a similar depending on availability in the evening in time for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 2 Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro

Youโ€™ll wake early for a sunrise game drive on the Serengeti, which offers you the best opportunity to see predators in action. Youโ€™ll also have the chance to see a stunning Serengeti sunrise as the rising sun seems to set fire to the savannah.

After a late breakfast, itโ€™s time to head to Ngorongoro. The drive is a game drive all of its own, and your driver will do his best to ensure you spot the Big Five, Wildebeest Migration, or whatever else your heart might desire along the way.

Olduvai Gorge Museum: Sometimes known as the Cradle of Mankind, the Olduvai Gorge Museum commemorates some of the oldest evidence of human habitation ever found. Here you can see some of the oldest fossil evidence in the world of human habitation, visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum to learn more about the human journey, and take in the stunning views of this stark gorge country.

Maasai boma visit: Pay a visit to one of the famous Maasai bomas, where youโ€™ll have the opportunity to witness (and participate in) traditional Maasai dance, tour an authentic Maasai village, and even do a little souvenir shopping at the local market.

Both of the above activities attract an additional cost. Speak with your safari expert about adding them to your itinerary.

Youโ€™ll then retire to your accommodations for dinner and a good nightโ€™s sleep.

  • Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, youโ€™ll depart for Ngorongoro Crater, considered by some to be the Eighth Wonder of the World. When you get your first glimpse of this vast, verdant caldera from the panoramic viewpoint, youโ€™ll soon understand why it has earned such a lofty reputation.

Home to over 120 species of mammals including the fabled Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought after safari destinations in the world. Itโ€™s a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water.

From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, youโ€™ll be able to observe and photograph some of Africaโ€™s most recognizable faces. The crater is home to a large number of predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as a large population of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, cape buffalo, and more. It is truly one of Africaโ€™s premier safari destinations.

After the thrills and excitement of the day, you will have a picnic lunch by the parkโ€™s famous hippo pool before returning to Arusha.
