Day 1: Arrival and welcoming to Tanzania

Whatever your arrival time at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your driver-guide will be waiting for you with a warm welcoming smile. Kick back and relax in your comfortable vehicle as he takes you to your hotel in Arusha, Tanzaniaโ€™s self-styled โ€˜safari capital.โ€™ On your journey to the hotel, you will get a brief impression of this large, bustling, commercial city. Depending on your arrival time, you may have your pre-safari briefing today; if not, it will take place early tomorrow morning. Enjoy the night in Tulia Hotel & Spa

Day 2: Discovery of Tarangire Park

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
Discovery of Tarangire Park
Departure for the Tarangire park which takes its name from the river of the same name. Its landscape of hills planted with bushes, baobabs and acacias or "sausage trees", attract a large fauna. You can easily observe elephants, gazelles, buffaloes, impalas, elks, cheetahs, lions and oryx. Installation and lunch at the lodge, then departure on safari. In the dry season, the spectacle of hordes of wildebeest, elephants and zebras migrating to the Tarangire river is impressive!

Day 3: Towards the mythical Serengeti

Fascinating Serengeti!
Head for Serengeti Park, the most important park in Tanzania and one of the largest preserved ecosystems on the planet. In Masai, its name means "endless plain". Each year it offers a spectacle of breathtaking intensity: the phenomenon of the great migration. You have lunch and go on a safari in the heart of green landscapes. Acacias and sausage trees overlook rivers in which the animals come to drink. Hordes of wildebeest, gazelles, antelopes, zebras, elephants, lions populate its immense plains. Installation at your camp at the end of the day.

Day 4: The awakening of the Serengeti

After breakfast, we will set off on a full day game drive in the wilderness following the Great Migration trails. Our experienced driver tour guide will provide you with interesting facts about this highly renowned event, which makes Tanzania the top safari destination in Africa.

Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site, is home to around 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 Thomsonโ€™s gazelle, which join in the wildebeestโ€™s trek for fresh grazing. Listen to the exotic sounds of over six million hooves pounding the open plains. This is just like you imagined Africa to be!

Day 5: Explore the Kogatende Area / the spot of the migration site

We will proceed for a full day game drive viewing the great migration at Mara area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area. The key feature is the Mara River and there is a great chance to see the herds cross the Mara River to the north on one day and back south a few days later. Please note that it can be very difficult to witness crossing and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to river and only decide to cross a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation and open plains, similar to Kenya's Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park (North Serengeti)

After breakfast, we will drive to Serengeti north viewing the great migration at Mara area. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note that finding a crossing is very challenging and is sometimes a matter of luck. There are instances where herds can be seen next to the river but then only decides to cross a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation and open plains, similar to Kenya's Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Day 7: Serengeti National Parkโ€“ Ngorongoro Conservation Area

In the morning, we will have another game drive in Serengeti National Park. Come afternoon, we proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Olduvai Gorge museum, a famous archaeological location in East Africa. At Laetoli, located 45 km south of Olduvai gorge, you will find hominin footprints preserved in volcanic rock that dates back 3.6 millions years ago and represent some of the earliest signs of mankind in the world.

Day 8: In the heart of the Ngorongoro crater

Ngorongoro Crater Tour
We start with an early morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Ngorongoro was established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources. It also safeguards the interests of indigenous people and promotes tourism. Later afternoon drive back to Arusha or at the airport for your flight back home.
