Accommodation

All accommodations throughout the trip - shared rooms, separated by gender. The first and final night will be in a hostel while the majority of the trip is in a beautiful wood lodge in the woods.

Flights

We have participants from all over, so flights are not included in the GIVE program cost. GIVE provides dedicated flight agents to organize the best flight options at competitive rates to your destination. We offer group itineraries so volunteers arrive together. Depending on your departure city, you may even have other GIVE volunteers on your flight during your entire travel time to your destination!

  • Day 1 Day 1: Trip Commencement
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Trip Commencement

      Trip Commencement: Meet your guides and fellow volunteers at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEATAC). Weโ€™ll then take private group transport to our backcountry campsite in the Cascade Mountains. After setting up camp, weโ€™ll gather for a group orientation to get ready for the journey ahead! 

  • Day 2 Day 2-4: Volunteer
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2-4: Volunteer

      Full-day Trail Maintenance Volunteering After breakfast, weโ€™ll hike to the worksite to begin our trail-maintenance volunteer work until around 3:00pm. Weโ€™ll then head back to the campsite for free time to relax or explore the surrounding wilderness before dinner around 7:00pm. After dinner, youโ€™re free to relax or take part in group games and discussions before bed.

  • Day 3 Day 5: River Rafting
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 5: River Rafting

      Pack up bright and early to meet our transport to the rafting launch site. That afternoon weโ€™ll whitewater raft down class 4-5 rapids! After an exciting day river rafting, weโ€™ll set up camp for the night along the river and make dinner under the beautiful star-filled sky.
