At Bindlestiff Tours we are closely monitoring government policy changes, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, government mandates, and public health advancements and will continue to make changes as deemed necessary and appropriate to our protocols and procedures. Therefore, the information contained in this document is subject to change at any time. Compliance with all posted and below Bindlestiff Tours policies and protocols will be required to participate in a tour and applies to all guests. Employee & Guest Health The health and safety of our employees and guests is our number one priority. We are following advice from the CDC and other relevant guidelines laid out by local authorities. Employee & Guest Health Concerns Our employees have been given clear instructions on how to respond swiftly and report all presumed cases of COVID-19. We will be ready to provide support to our guests. Employees are instructed to stay home if they do not feel well and are instructed to contact management if a guest has a cough, shortness of breath, or other known symptoms of COVID-19. Guests who are exhibiting any of the symptoms of COVID-19 while on tour are instructed to immediately notify their tour guide. Physical Distancing Guests will be advised to practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from other groups of people wherever possible. Guests will be reminded to refrain from touching their faces and to practice physical distancing whenever possible. Camping Equipment (for camping tours only) All camping equipment will be sanitized between tours and guests will be assigned the same camping equipment for the duration of the tour. Vehicles All tour vehicles will be sanitized before your tour, using will be additionally sanitized by the tour guide during the tour whenever possible. Disposable Face Masks It is highly encouraged to bring your own hand sanitizer and face covering, and to wear your face covering while traveling. If you forget your mask, one may be available for you while stocks last. Guests will not be required to wear their face mask when they are in the tour vehicle. Please note that some parks and states are mandating that members of the public wear face coverings at all times when in public. Since these mandates are continuously being updated, we encourage you to reach out to us close to your tour date for the latest mandates in each area of your tour. Hand Sanitizer Hand sanitizer will be readily available and free for guests to use throughout their tour. Camping and Lodging Accommodations All hotels and campgrounds used by Bindlestiff Tours are following sanitization protocols and procedures. Please email us at info@bindlestifftours.com for information on how to access each facilityโ€™s procedures. Food kitty and communal meals where applicable Any tours that offer communally cooked/prepared meals may be altered in the short term. Any camping evening meals may be replaced with restaurant service at the guestโ€™s expense. Due to these circumstances, local food kitty payments may be reduced and guests will be notified on a per-tour basis if this applies. What if someone shows symptoms of COVID-19 on a tour? If a customer feels unwell during their trip, our guide will assist them to access medical care. This may include facilitating COVID-19 testing. Will my trip continue if someone on the trip tests positive for COVID-19? If a customer tests positive for COVID-19, they will be assisted to leave the tour in line with CDC guidelines and will be offered access medical care (if required). They may be required to isolate for a period of time. Our customer service team will assist with accommodation and onward travel plans, however we highly recommend that guests have travel insurance in place that covers this instance. Whether the rest of the group can continue on the trip will be managed on a case by case basis. Our goal is to keep the trip going wherever possible unless we are required to end the trip in line with local regulations.

Expert local tour guide Small group tour - max of 14 guests. Book a Private Tour option (minimum purchase of 10 seats) and enjoy a totally private tour with just you and your expert tour guide! Private tours require a minimum purchase of 10 seats. But we will be happy to accommodate any size group from 1+ guests. Hotel rooms are twin share/ triple. Rooms have two queen beds.

  • Day 1 Day 1: Seattle To Kamloops

      Day 1: Seattle To Kamloops

      Today takes us to Kamloops British Columbia where the North and South Thompson rivers meet. Kamloops is abundant with stunning scenery and great wildlife viewing. Cougars, bears elk and more inhabit the Thomson River Valley.  En route stop for a short walk and picnic at Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park.  The landscape encompassing the park is characterized by low elevation valleys and lush, rounded mountains. Bridal Veil Falls, which tumbles 197 ft. over a smooth rock face, creating a veil-like effect.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Yoho National Park

      Day 2: Yoho National Park

      The word Yoho comes from the Cree word for awe and wonder and it soon becomes apparent why. Explore trials around the magnificent Emerald Lake where you can take a walk around the lake or simply relax in the lakeshore cafe and enjoy the views.  This afternoon we drive the Kicking Horse Pass across the Continental Divide into Alberta. Enjoy panoramic vistas of peaks exceeding 10,000 feet on Rogers Pass at the summit in Canadaโ€™s Glacier National Park en route to Banff, our night stop.

      Banff is a fun mountain town offering some alpine nightlife and numerous cafes and restaurants.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Banff National Park- Lake Louise

      Day 3: Banff National Park- Lake Louise

      Lake Louise is an alpine lake known for its stunning turquoise glacier fed waters ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a stately chateau. Multiple hiking trails lead  up to the Lake Agnes Tea House for birdโ€™s-eye views of the lake. Take a hike to the Plain-of-Six-Glaciers, take is easy exploring the lakeshore or choose to canoe on these pristine waters. This afternoon visit Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 6,183 feet for some epic photos.

      Day 4: Icefields Parkway Jasper National Park

      You are in for a real treat today. Spend the day driving and exploring the Icefields Parkway. This drive offers endless vistas, jagged mountains, glaciers and wildlife viewing opportunities- truly one of the worldโ€™s most spectacular drives. Enjoy short walks, views of Bow Glacier and Peyto lake, take an optional helicopter flight over the Columbia Icefield or strap on some crampons and step out on the Athabasca glacier- this day just keeps on giving.

      Day 5: Jasper National Park

      This morning is yours to enjoy Jasper - the largest national park in Canada. Marvel at the snowcapped summits and beautiful lakes in this true wild mountain wilderness. Jasper offers an abundance of wildlife sightings, jagged mountain peaks, alpine lakes and numerous hiking/biking opportunities. Hike or bike the famous trails around stunning lakeshores and visit Maligne Canyon.  After a full day of activities we follow the Yellowhead Highway,  hugging the mighty North Thompson River to our night stop of Cleawater BC. See the base of 12,972-foot Mount Robson (the highest point in the Canadian Rockies) and maybe catch a glimpse of the infamous peak enroute.

      Day 6: Whistler And Vancouver

      On to the alpine resort of Whistler, nestled at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Today is free to explore all that Whistler has to offer. Enjoy spectacular scenery and incredible photo opportunities as you explore this cute ski town and home of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

      This morning drive the spectacular Sea to Sky highway for your tour of Vancouver. Visit the waterfront, Gas lamp district, Chinatown, and Stanley Park. Head to Seattle for a your evening downtown or drop off at the departure hotel or depart in Vancouver at approx 1pm.

      This epic Western Canada tour ends at approx. 8pm in Seattle or approx 1pm in Vancouver.
