  • Day 1 Santiago, Arrival & City Tour Highlights

      Arrival at Santiago International Airport. Upon arrival, meet with your driver-guide who will transfer you to your hotel. 

      During the afternoon, your tour begins with a walking tour with a local guide . Youโ€™ll discover more about the city that was founded in 1541 by the Spaniard, Pedro de Valdivia, and has experienced a turbulent history filled with native conflicts, floods and earthquakes. Visit Plaza de Armas, the heart of the city and home to the cathedral. Next, continue in the bohemian Bellavista neighborhood and take the cable car that will allow you to get directly to the top of the hill (Summit Station) for the best view of the city, where the image of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception is located.  The second part of the tour will take you to the eastern side of the city, to the financial heart of Santiago, known for its modern buildings, impressive glass skyscrapers and its impressive sculptures designed by prominent national architects. There, you will see exactly why this area is known as โ€œSanhattanโ€ among the locals.

      After breakfast at your hotel, you have the opportunity to visit Casablanca Valley. 

      The first stop will be at Kingston Family vineyard. The visit begins the moment you turn off a remote country road onto a hidden palm drive.  Youโ€™ll be welcomed for intimate wine and culinary experiences at the familyโ€™s tasting salon overlooking the picturesque valley. 

      Premium Wine Tasting: Includes six estate-grown, premium wines: one welcome glass, three glasses perfectly paired with local cheeses and fine chocolates, and one final wine to surprise and delight. (1-2 hours)

      Then continue to Casas del Bosque  one of the most prestigious wineries in the valley, located closest to the Pacific Ocean, the westernmost and therefore the coolest, making it a benchmark in the production of cool-climate wines. It has been repeatedly ranked as one of the best vineyards to visit in the world by The Worldโ€™s Best Vineyards for its first-class wine tourism to enjoy exclusive food and wine experiences and for its premium wines with tremendous freshness and uniqueness. 

      Private Tour includes: together with a Wine Educator, enjoy the experience of walking through our vineyards; get to know our wine cellar and barrel room and taste an exquisite selection of wines to enchant you with the Casas del Bosque style.

      Next enjoy lunch at its restaurant where local chef mixes traditional culinary techniques with innovation and uses local ingredients in his dishes.  Finally, transfer back to Santiago.

      Full Day Visito To Colchagua Valley

      The Colchagua Valley is 190 km south of Santiago. The short distance through the valley between the ocean and the mountain range generates a special climate that favors the superior quality of its wines. Due to these exceptional climatic conditions, the adaptation of most strains is optimal, especially Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere, where their best exponents are produced, due to the demanding climate they require to reach their optimum maturity.  We will begin the tour of the Montes Vineyard, where we will ride in a carriage through its vineyards with a panoramic view of the Apalta Valley, we will tour its modern cellar and barrel room where we will taste  Montes wines.  Lunch at Fuegos de Apalta. 

      Finally, we will go to Lapostolle Vineyard where we will visit the extraordinary 6-story Clos Apalta winery nestled in the hills and taste renowned wines and then return to Santiago in gthe late afternoon.
