Arrival at Santiago International Airport. Upon arrival, meet with your driver-guide who will transfer you to your hotel.

During the afternoon, your tour begins with a walking tour with a local guide (approximately 2.5 hours). You’ll discover more about the city that was founded in 1541 by the Spaniard, Pedro de Valdivia, and has experienced a turbulent history filled with native conflicts, floods and earthquakes. Head to the Plaza de Armas, the heart of the city and home to the cathedral. Next, take the cable car to the top of Cerro San Cristobal for the best view of the city. Finishing the tour in the bohemian Bellavista neighborhood.

Day 2 Full Day Visit To Casablanca Valley

Full Day Visit To Casablanca Valley

After breakfast at your hotel, you have the opportunity to visit Bodegas Re. This vineyard has preserved its ancestors’ clay vessels from the Maule Valley and still produces a number of their wines within them, demonstrating that it is still possible to make excellent wines using ancient techniques and modern knowledge. Next visit the Casas del Bosque vineyard and enjoy lunch at its restaurant where local chef mixes traditional culinary techniques with innovation and uses local ingredients in his dishes. Finally, transfer banck to Santiago.

Day 3 Full Day Visito To Maipo Valley

This morning drive to Las Vertientes in the heart of the Maipo Canyon. Located in the foothills of the Andes, with views of the River Maipo, this area is a popular weekend spot for santiaguinos

Our first stop will be at Haras de Pirque Vineyard for a visit to this unique winery. In 1991, after a highly successful business career in Chile’s private sector, entrepreneur Eduardo Matte acquired this estate near Pirque, a prestigious winegrowing area situated in the Maipo Valley. The property – today covering 600 hectares – gently ascends the lower slopes of a spur of the Andes Mountains. The visit will include a tasting of premium wines.

Continue to Santa Rita Winery. After lunch at Doña Paula restaurant, guided tour through grape variety garden, vineyards, winemaking and cellaring process, and bottling process, visiting “Bodega 1” – the winery’s first cellar and the “Cellar of the 120 Patriots”, where you will discover the exciting story that gives 120 its name. The tour ends with a tasting of Reserva and Gran Reserva wines, with a free souvenir engraved wineglass. You will also receive free entry to the Museo Andino museum.

Day 4 Santiago, Departure - Mendoza

Day 5 Full Day Visit To Uco Valley

Full Day Visit To Uco Valley

Early in the morning we will meet the specialized wine guide who will accompany us throughout the tour. We will depart to Mendoza’s agricultural oasis of Valle de Uco, 100 kms from Mendoza City. Inside the first mountainsides of the Andes’ foothills, the Uco valley presents the highest altitudes at which wines are produced in the province of Mendoza. We will visit two wineries and enjoy a wine tasting session, during which we will begin to familiarize ourselves with the local’s wines, and its elaboration process.

Our guide will explain us the technique of wine tasting, wine production techniques, the importance of the cork in the bottle and the correct way to handle a glass in order to taste wine.

At noon we will have lunch at a recognized restaurant in a winery, enjoying a gourmet menu. As the sun sets behind the Andes Mountains, we’ll return to Mendoza City.

Full Day Visit To Andes Mountains

Come with us and experience the immensity of the Andes range, be amazed by the outstanding panoramic views. Walk along the Panamericana route through places of serene beauty such as Potrerillos and Uspallata. We then arrive at Puente del Inca with its fascinating geological shapes and thermal springs. From here we enter the Aconcagua Provincial Park and the Horcones lagoon with imposing views of Aconcagua Peak. We continue our trip to Las Cuevas, the last Argentine village before the border with Chile.

ALL THIS WILL BE POSSIBLE IF CLIMATE CONDITIONS ALLOWS IT BY THIS TIME OF THE YEAR.

Day 7 Mendoza - Buenos Aires

Transfer to local airport in Mendoza and return to Buenos Aires (Flight Mendoza – Buenos Aires not included).

Discover the history of May Square, the site of the most important historical events and their protagonists since its foundation: see its surroundings, the most emblematic buildings, and learn all about them. Then enjoy May Avenue and wonder in awe at the oldest residential neighborhood in Buenos Aires: San Telmo. Walk along its cobble-stoned streets and discover its antiques shops and picturesque buildings.

Live and feel the original Tango in the neighborhood of La Boca: walk along Caminito Street and enjoy the dancers and souvenir shops. See the mythical Boca Juniors soccer stadium.

Contemplate the modernization of the city whilst traveling along Madero Port and its exclusive docks, full of excellent restaurants and large offices. Pass through the Retiro neighborhood and move on to see Palermo and its most exclusive residential area before finally arriving at Recoleta. Once there, discover the final resting place of Eva Peron, “Evita” and wander through Recoleta Cemetery where she is to be found.

During evening, enjoy the notes and sensations of Tango represented through the sensual movements of the dancers and the magical chords of the orchestra accompanied by an exquisite typical Argentine meal!
