  • Day 1 Arrive In El Salvador

      Arrive In El Salvador

      Arrive in El Salvador and transfer to your hotel.  Your hotel is located at Zona Rosa, a very active area with many dining options.    If you arrive In the morning or mid-day, optional tour from the airport to visit the famous surfing village of  El Tunco , and then continue to your hotel during the afternoon.

      Our local guide will be happy to show you our capital city: San Salvador, its history, culture and people. We began visiting the Historic Center of San Salvador, with its cathedral and Mausoleum of Monsignor Romero. Driving to the north you will see the most modern part of the city. Free time for lunch (not included).  During the afternoon, we visit Boquerรณn National Park, located at the top of the crater of San Salvadorโ€™s volcano where you can observe the beautiful flora

  • Day 3 Joya De Ceren - Ruta De Las Flores- Ataco

      830am  Depart to visit the UNESCO heritage site of Joya de Ceren,  a Maya village that was covered by layers o hot ash from a nearby volcano and preserved after it was accidentally discovered in 1977, then we continue to Ruta de las Flores,  on route admire the country and views of   Cerro Verde, Izalco, and Santa Ana volcanoes,  You will visit the town of Izalco   founded by Spaniards over a pipil village.  After we stop at Nahuizalco from Ruta de las Flores and will taste yuca (a typical dish served over a banana leaf ) at salcoatitan. Visit the coffee process plant where you will learn about this important crop in El Salvador. 

  • Day 4 Ataco - Copan Ruins

      After breakfast departs to  Copan,  arrive early afternoon, and visit  The Maya ruins with a local guide,, admission to the museum is included ( no guide )..  Overnight in Copan..

      For many years, Copรกn Ruins have been famous for its magnificent Mayan ruins, declared by UNESCO as Archaeological World Heritage Site in 1980.

      Unique in Copรกn is the high hieroglyphic staircase, measuring 20 meters long and 10 meters wide. The staircase consists of 63 steps and contains more than 1800 hieroglyphics, which together form the longest known Maya hieroglyphic text and the longest text ever found.

  • Day 5 Copan To Antigua Guatemala

      9am   Depart to  El San Salvador and visit Santa Ana, free time to lunch,  and at approx 3pm take the first class bus to  Guatemala City and same day transfer to Antigua.   Arriving approx 10pm. 

  • Day 6 Antigua On Your Own

      Antigua On Your Own

      Today you have a free day,  to explore Antigua Guatemala.  Antigua is a colonial-style city thatโ€™s bursting in culture and amazing views.  This town was the Capital of all central America and the place where the independence was signed.   You can also request a guided tour of the city.

  • Day 7 Antigua At Leisure

      Antigua At Leisure

      free day at Antigua.   Today you can take the optional tour of  Chichicastenango. There you will visit the Church of St. Thomas on top of a Maya Pyramid and the famous outdoor market where you will find crafts, pottery, and textiles of the most varied shapes and colors.  During the afternoon you will visit one of the most beautiful lakes in the world lake Atitlan.   Other alternative is half day tour to  Pacaya volcano.

  • Day 8 Time To Say Good Bye

      Time To Say Good Bye

      Breakfast,  Free morning to relax or explore.   room available until noon.   Transfer to the airport is 4 hrs before departure.   Or can request a day tour to  Tikal.
