This morning, you will visit San Pedro Sula, the second largest city of Honduras. You will get a general idea about the history and culture of the city while taking a private drive through the commercial and residential areas. You will first visit the Museum of Anthropology and History of San Pedro Sula, and then explore a local handicraft market named the Mrcado Guamilito to have a close contact with local people. In the afternoon, we will drive around 4 hours along the beautiful countryside road to the picturesque village of Copan. In the morning, we will visit the main archaeological site, the Copan Ruinas, which consist of the three main sites: the Hieroglyphic Stairway, the Mayan Ball Court, and the Sepulchers. Here, you will learn about the impressive 63-step stairway with over 2,500 hieroglyphs and masterfully carved Stella.
