Have a nice breakfast at your hotel and get ready to part to the area of Sarapiquí. This place is named after its major waterway, the Sarapiquí River. This river was very important to Costa Rica in its defense of national sovereignty in 1856 war with Filibusters in Nicaragua, and it was the first transport route between Costa Rica and Europe. The main agricultural activities of the region are: banana, pineapple, coffee, corn, cocoa, cardamom, citrus and palm. Popular area for tourism thanks to the recreational activities practiced in the Sarapiquí River.  When you think about Costa Rica, you probably imagine lush tropical rainforest, flowing white rivers, spectacular waterfalls, birds, butterflies, monkeys, hummingbirds, snakes, felines and frogs. Today we will have breakfast at the hotel. We are going to continue with our adventure, we will be heading to Arenal, La Fortuna. This place is home of the Arenal Volcano. This National Park encompasses a protected area in the northern part of Costa Rica. It’s known for its volcano and its wildlife. Arenal Volcano is around 7000 years old!  We are going to do an amazing activity, Canopy! You can enjoy this thrilling aerial adventure of approximately 3 km, starting from a tower 13 meters high and glide!!!  The rest of the day, you can enjoy the hotel facilities or get to know the La Fortuna Town, where you can find all kinds of international restaurants and bars.
