  • Day 1 Arrival San Carlos De Bariloche

      Arrival San Carlos De Bariloche

      We welcome you at Bariloche`s Airport and then transfer to the hotel to check in. The rest of the day is at leisure to visit the city center on our own or to do any of the optional Excursions that Bariloche has to offer us.

      Optional Excursion Recommended: Small Circuit 

      It is almost obligatory that the first excursion that takes place in Bariloche is the famous Circuito Chico, not only because it shows representative places of the Andean landscape, but also because in half a day one can get to know and fall in love with this city.

      The circuit is carried out along Av. Ezequiel Bustillo, bordering the Nahuel Huapi lake. As one moves away from the buildings, the landscape begins to change to appreciate the flora and forests of cypresses, maitenes, coihues and รฑires, among other typical trees.

      At kilometer 17, there is the base of Cerro Campanario, which has a height of 1,050 meters and has a chairlift (optional). Its summit has one of the eight most impressive panoramic views in the world. Near kilometer 24, you begin to see the San Eduardo Chapel, Puerto Paรฑuelo and the Llao Llao hotel. After passing through Villa Tacul and Lago Escondido, you reach the junction of the Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno lakes, which you cross over the Angostura bridge, located over the river of the same name.

      The circuit also shows the Panoramic Point or Mirador del Lago Moreno. The return is undertaken by the El Trรฉbol lagoon until the junction with Av. Bustillo, which leads back to the center of the city. In this way, in only 60 kilometers one can admire lakes, mountains and native forests of singular beauty.

  • Day 2 Villa La Angostura & San Martin De Los Andes

      Villa La Angostura & San Martin De Los Andes

      Today we will visit the town of San Martรญn de los Andes which is located south of the Neuquรฉn province. Itโ€™s nestled in an ample valley on the shores of Lago Lacar, at an elevation of 640 meters over sea level.

      We will travel to San Martรญn de los Andes, going through Villa la Angostura first, and then towards the Siete Lagos, where we can enjoy the most beautiful scenery in the region, crystalline lakes, with unusual colors of blue and green, framed by dense, old woods. After arriving at San Martรญn de los Andes, a typical mountain town, we will have time to visit the city on our own and to enjoy. In the afternoon we go back to our hotel in Bariloche.

      After breakfast free day to visit the city on your own or to do any of the otional tours that Bariloche has to offer us.

      Optional Excursion Recommended: Tronoador Hill and Ventisquero Negro 

      Cerro Tronador is the highest point in the Nahuel Huapi National Park. With its eternal snow and hanging glaciers, you will not want to stop visiting it to also see for yourself the reason for its name. The tour starts from Bariloche, taking National Route 40 South, about 45 km, to cross the Pampa de Huenuleo and border Lake Gutiรฉrrez, to cross the Pilmayen and Melgarejo streams. After passing through the "watershed", we will walk along the shores of Lake Mascardi until we reach the detour where the road to Tronador (gravel) emerges.

      During this tour, the Mascardi lake is bordered again along its west coast, until reaching the Isla Corazรณn viewpoint. Later on, you will pass in front of Cerro Los Emparedados and skirt the upper Manso River until you reach Pampa Linda, from where you have one of the best views of Cerro Tronador.

      Then you cross part of the Vuriloches valley and finally, passing through a shady forest, you arrive at Ventisquero Negro.

      The tour culminates a little further on at the foot of Cerro Tronador. The hill, with its 3,454 meters above sea level, is the most important height in the Nahuel Huapi National Park, and has three peaks (International, Argentine and Chilean).

  • Day 4 Blest Port & Cรกntaros Waterfall Navegation

      After breakfast we transfer to Puerto Paรฑuelo on the Llao Llao peninsula, and after one hour of sailing, we will arrive at Centinela Island, resting place of Perito Francisco Pascasio Moreno, father of National Parks in Argentina, followed by a visit to Cascada de los Cรกntaros (Cรกntaros Waterfall.) Later on, a walk through the lush vegetation of the Valdivian rainforest, arriving at Lago Cรกntaros (Cรกntaros Lake,) the mouth of the waterfall, where we can witness the overwhelming sight of a 1,500-year-old larch tree. A short 5 minute sail later, we will finally arrive at Puerto Blest, a place that has amazed tourists from all over the world. From there, we will be able to tour the bay and the shores of Lago Frรญas and its peculiar green waters, which originate at one of the glaciers on Cerro Tronador, the natural border between Argentina and Chile. Then we go back to our hotel.

  • Day 5 San Carlos De Bariloche - El Calafate

      San Carlos De Bariloche - El Calafate

      After Breakfast we transfer to Bariloche`s Airport to take our flight to our next destination: El Calafate. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to visit the town on our own.

      Domestic Flight from Bariloche (BRC) to El Calafate (FTE) is non included. 

      Optional Excursion Recommended: Nativo Experience - Lakes and Caverns 

      It is an excursion in 4ร—4 along the coast of Lake Argentino. Ideal for the day of arrival or departure, it has an anthropological approach, making a tour at the time about the passing of man in these lands, rediscovering the stories of the first expeditions and daring that ventured into the unknown.

      Between the cliffs and overlooking the Andes Mountains, the excursion focuses on the first contacts of those expeditionaries with the natives, and then enter the Tehuelche world.

      On the banks of the lake are the caves where thousands of years ago that culture left its marks on the rock and that today induce us to its interpretation. Finally, the excursion culminates in another cave where lunch or dinner is included that will transport us to those remote years.

  • Day 6 Perito Moreno Glacier With Safari Nautico Boat Trip

      Perito Moreno Glacier With Safari Nautico Boat Trip

      It is a full day excursion which consists of sightseeing of the Perito Moreno Glacier.

      We will depart from El Calafate, go round the southern bank of Lago Argentino, past Bahia Redonda, where a great variety of avifauna can be seen. We will go along the Patagonic steppe during the first 40 km, and then enter Los Glaciares National Park, which is plenty of trees that are typical of this region such as the ones belonging to the family of Nothofagus (รฑires, lengas, cohiues) and others such as calkers, notros and cinnamon trees.

      Then we will go to โ€œBajo de las Sombrasโ€ port (at only 7 Km from the walkways), where we will get on board a ship to cross Lago Rico after a 40-minute navigation. After than we start our way back to El Calafate.

  • Day 7 El Calafate

      After breakfast the rest of the day is at leisure to visit the town on our own or to do any of the optional Excursions that El Calafate has to offer us.

      Optional Excursion Recommended: Full Day Ranch Nibepo Aike 

      Opportunity to spend the day at the ranch which allows to know the history of the estancia, admire the gaucho skills and demonstration of shearing. Before lunch, a walk or horseback ride to the narrows where the Roca Lake drains into the Argentino Lake, culminating the program with the renowned lamb roast.

      Reception with hot drinks and fried cakes/homemade puddings, walk around the old historic quarter, milking and herding sheep, shearing demonstration and rein testing.

      Lunch: Roast Lamb with salads, dessert and a drink.

      Transfers from / to El Calafate
