What is a chocolate tasting?

It is entering a new world of exotic flavors, textures and different ways of presenting chocolates and bonbons. An original, participatory activity.

An introductory talk to the world of chocolate given by our brand ambassador, with material for all participants:

1. Welcome to the World of Chocolate: From nature and geography, we will learn about the fruit with the types of cocoa beans, and the different world production areas.

We will explain the harvest with sustainable production that VanWynsberghe Chocolats boasts in different countries around the world and then taste these original chocolates and learn about the varieties of aromas and flavors: Varietals from Peru, Madagascar and Ecuador are tasted.

It is a sensitive journey where the records of the organoleptic sensations produced by each varietal are detailed.

We go through different sensations, stopping to inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth, letting the chocolate take our temperature and thus introduce us to a journey in the mouth that reveals the different flavors and in the ear through the crack produced by the cutting of the chocolate pieces.

2. Uniting the world with Patagonia:

San Carlos de Bariloche, converted into the National Capital of Chocolate, invites us to a tasting of Patagonian truffles with typical flavors that represent us such as rose hips, berries and the well-known lavender flower. We will learn to recognize complex and high-quality chocolates. quality.

During any time of the year, as you go down Bustillo Avenue towards the West, you can begin one of the more beautiful and comprehensive trips offered by our Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi: Circuito Chico. It’s a half day trip that goes around the southern border of the Lago Nahuel Huapi, in a 65 kilometers long tour. Along the way, we can go through beaches like Playa Bonita or Bahía Serena, some natural lookout points, like Bahía López and Punto Panorámico, ideal spots to enjoy the wonderful scenery; from there we can see the chair lifts to Cerro Campanario, the Bahía Llao Llao (Bay,) Puerto Pañuelo and other fascinating sights. We can experience Puerto Pañuelo, Llao Llao Hotel and Capilla San Eduardo (Chapel,) all singular attractions for all visitors. Circuito Chico is a very comprehensive trip. Day 3 Victoria Island & Myrtle Forest

Victoria Island & Myrtle Forest

After a one hour sail, departing from Puerto Pañuelo on the imposing Llao Llao peninsula, we arrive at the Quetrihue peninsula, location of the Bosque de Arrayanes, and north-east of Lago Nahuel Huapi. The myrtle (called “quetrihue” in the mapuche language) is a bush with an exquisite saffron color and white flowers. In this place, the only one in the world, the bush takes a tree-like appearance and creates a magical and rare forest. We will sail again to Puerto Anchorena, on Isla Victoria, where we will find lush vegetation that offers an incredible view. Following the trails of this beautiful and thousand-year-old island, we will reach Playa del Toro, where we can see the paintings made by the native peoples that used to live in the area, surrounded by a magnificent volcanic-sand beach, an unforgettable and magical experience.

Optional Excursion Recommended: Full Day San Martin de los Andes by 7 Lakes

In addition to traveling along the famous road of the 7 lakes, we will visit the picturesque cities of Villa La Angostura and San Martín de los Andes.

The Walk from Bariloche to San Martín de los Andes is one of the most important excursions that tourists can take when they come to see the region. It is a full day that covers the Nahuel Huapi and Lanín National Parks. It starts from Bariloche, along RN 40 towards the north.

After passing Puerto Manzano, you cross Villa La Angostura, a true mountain village. A few kilometers later, the Path of the 7 Lakes begins, which runs through lakes Correntoso, Espejo, Escondido, Villarino, Falkner, Hermoso and Machónico.

Once in San Martín de los Andes, on the shore of Lake Lacar, passengers will have time for lunch and will be able to tour the city center. You return along the same path.
