Continuing we reach San Bernardo´s hill, at the foot stands the Monument to General Güemes carved in stone extracted from the same hill and that culminates with the equestrian figure of the hero, cast in bronze. It passes through the Catholic University, Vaqueros River, Castellanos creek, Lesser, until reaching San Lorenzo, a picturesque town of rest very appreciated to enjoy the summer holidays of Salta, located in the so-called sector of the Yungas very close to the San Lorenzo River, northwest of the Lerma Valley, where you can see an interesting landscape and colorful rooms as well as attractive houses.

      Day 5: Brazilian Falls

A popular saying affirms that in the spectacle of the Falls, on the Argentinean side the stage is located and of the Brazilian the privileged audience.

The footbridges take the visitor to explore the spectacular waterfalls from different angles. Reaching the very edge of the Garganta del Diablo is a unique experience.

Within the Foz do Iguazú National Park, 25 km from the center of Foz do Iguazú (BR), are the Brazilian waterfalls. Its great attraction lies, definitely, in its unique panoramic vision. As most of the jumps are on the Argentine side, from this favorable distance, you can see the whole in its entirety and assess the real immensity of the imposing Iguazu Falls. The landscape, incredible where it is appreciated, offers a view out of the ordinary. Surrounded by the green leafy characteristic of the subtropical forests, one can glimpse the largest set of waterfalls in the world, with 275 falls that result in a total width of 2700 meters, one of the sides of the Garganta del Diablo and the no less impressive, 4 Brazilian jumps. On the other hand, it is surprising, in the beauty and enormity of the 175,000 hectares covered by the Foz do Iguazú National Park, the innumerable variety of native animal and plant species.
