Itinerary

Day 1: Travel from Nairobi to Samburu National Park

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
You will be picked by our representative at the airport and proceed to Samburu. Samburu is fiercely beautiful
with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas
and home to species only found north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe to Gravy’s zebra. On arrival
at Samburu Game Reserve you will check in at Sopa lodge where you will also have lunch before proceeding
to an evening game drive.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive at Samburu National Reserve

Stop At: Samburu National Reserve, Samburu National Reserve, Samburu District, Rift Valley Province
On this day, you will have a full day in Samburu with morning and evening game drives. After breakfast we
will head out for a game drive and see the animals graze. This is a semi-arid park and has got lots of trees,
water, and shade to attract wildlife like elephant, lion, giraffe and zebra from the surrounding savannah
plains. You will also get to see the famous “Big Five” that is lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, and
many more.

Day 3: A visit to Sweetwaters in Nanyuki

Stop At: Sweetwaters Tented Camp, Nanyuki Nanyuki Naromoru rd Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya
The day starts off with a nourishing breakfast and refreshments from the lodge. You will check out from the
lodge and proceed to Sweet Waters in Nanyuki. Sweetwaters land, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy with its huge
ranch boasts of excellent game viewing experience with the highest ratio of game to area among any other
parks or reserves in Kenya. On this day, we will have two extensive game drives exploring the exotic
Sweetwaters Sanctuary.
Dinner & Overnight: Sweetwaters Serena Camp (Luxury Tented Camp)

Day 4: Sweetwaters to Maasai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
After a nourishing breakfast from the camp, you will proceed to the great Masai Mara for bush safari and
unlimited game drives.
The Masai Mara is without a doubt East Africa’s most popular game park and boasts of being host to one of
the Seven Wonders of the World. It is in the south western part of Kenya and forms part of the greater ecosystem that encompasses the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The park is surrounded by concession
areas and tribal lands of the Masai tribes’ people. These are unfenced from the Mara and act as a buffer zone
for the National Park and form part of the migration area. The Masai Mara consists of open savannah, rolling
grasslands and undulating hills. July to September sees the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle
coming from the plains of the Serengeti.

Day 5: Maasai Mara-Nairobi-Mombasa

On this day, your tour guide will transfer you to the airport for a flight to Nairobi and board another one to Mombasa. Upon arrival at Mombasa, you will be transferred to a hotel. You will check in and have time to
relax at the hotel as well as visit the beach.
Dinner & Overnight: Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa
Duration: 18 hours

Day 6: Full Day Mombasa
