      Day 1: Reykjavik (Iceland)

Upon arrival at the airport in Iceland, make your way toward the bus terminal for the transfer to your hotel. Airport shuttles (Flybus) depart every 30 to 40 minutes and seats are always available on board. The rest of the day is free for you to start your exploration of Reykjavik, the capital and largest city in the country. Ingolfur Arnarson, the first Icelandic settler, built his farm on the peninsula where Reykjavik is today. The city owes its name, "Bay of Smoke", to the steam jets that could be seen rising from hot springs in the region and which probably impressed the first European settlers.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Reykjavik - Northern Lights Hunt
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

From autumn until spring, during clear and cold dark nights, it is possible to witness one of nature's most incredible displays: Aurora Borealis. On this evening tour, you may be lucky enough to see them swirling and dancing across the sky changing endlessly their color, shape, and size. *In the event that Northern Lights have not been observed, a second evening will be offered the next day with no additional cost.  *Please note that the Northern Lights hunt is only available between September and mid-April inclusively. • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: The Golden Circle

Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will start with a visit of Fridheimar Geothermal Tomato Farm, where abundant supplies of geothermal water and artificial lights replicate Mediterranean conditions. Then, you will continue on to the geothermal fields of Geysir with bubbling mud pools and the high-spouting Strokkur, the most active geyser in the area. You will see the dramatic Gullfoss waterfall, where thousands of tons of icy water thunder majestically down double ledges into a deep canyon. Last but not least, departure toward Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the worldโ€™s oldest parliament met for centuries on the shores of Icelandโ€™s largest lake. You might even have the rare chance to walk between two continents as the national park is on the boundary between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates! Return to Reykjavik at the end of the day. (Breakfast)

Tour leaving from Reikiavik

Reykjavรญk is the capital and most populated city of Iceland. It is located south of the Faxaflรณi Bay, in a zone where the geysers abound. During the winter it only gets four hours of sunlight, and during the summer the nights are as clear as the day.
