Accommodation

Trekking Lodge (Tea House) accommodations during the trek. Standard twin-sharing accommodation in a three-star hotel in Kathmandu including breakfast (1 night only)

Use of sleeping bag, down Jacket, Duffel bag and walking Poles (if you donโ€™t have your own, to be returned after the trip completed). Government taxes and official expenses. Ox meter to check your pulse and oxygen saturation and heart rate twice daily (Very useful to check Altitude Mountain Sickness(AMS) symptoms) Which will ensure you trek is in the safest hands possible for all levels of trekker. Tips for the guide, porter, and driver (Tipping is expected) Kathmandu sightseeing monument entrance fees($30 USD per person) Excess baggage more than 10 kg for Lukla flight. Please be advised that if you need to return early from the trek due to reasons such as sickness, unfavorable weather conditions, personal issues, itinerary modifications, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the following conditions apply: - Any payments made for flights, hotel accommodations, mountain room bookings, meals, and related expenses are nonrefundable. - You will be required to cover the costs of hotel stays, meals, and other expenses in Kathmandu independently. Additionally, please note that during the months of March to May and September to November, all flights will depart from Ramechhap. It will be necessary for you to make a 4-5 hour drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap in order to catch your flight. Kindly consider these terms and arrangements carefully before commencing your trek.   • Day 1 Day 1: Fly To Lukla (2804M/9199Ft) & Trek To Phakding (2610M/8563Ft) 4-5 Hours.

      Our adventure begins after arriving at Tenzing Hillary Airport at Lukla and then heading out on the trail to Phakding. The trail takes us through Chaurikharka Village before ascending to Dudh Koshi Ghat (2,530m/8,300ft) then on to Phakding. At Phakding we will visit the Rimishung Monastery. 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Trek From Phakding To Namche Bazaar (3,440M) 5-6 Hours.

      Today we follow the trail through the valley next to the Dudh Kosi River. On several occasions, we cross the Dudh Kosi River on suspension bridges before climbing higher and arriving at the small village of Jorsale in the Khumbu region โ€“ just south of Namche Bazaar. After a two hour trek, we reach Namche Bazaar. On the trail, we have some amazing views, including Mt. Everest (Sagamartha in Nepali). We enter the Sagarmatha National Park at Jorsale where authorities will check your trekking permit. After another 5 or 6 hours of quite hard going, we arrive at Namche Bazaar.

      Today we head off to Tengboche following a zigzag trail past many valleys before arriving at Kenjoma, where it connects with the path from Khumjung passing many Mani stones on the trail (stones inscribed with sacred Buddhist prayers). The views of Everest and Mt. Ama Dablam are breath-taking along this section of the trail. We then arrive at the small village of Sanasa where the trail descends to Phunki Thanga (3250m) and then we have a steep climb up through pine forests before reaching Tengboche (3870m). Tengboche is famous for its magnificent views of many of the worldโ€™s tallest peaks, such as Kwangde (6187m), Tawachee (6542m), Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse (8501m), Amadablam, Kantega, and Thamserku.

      Today the trail is mostly downhill for 3 to 4 hours passing through forests before crossing the Imja Khola (river) and then passing through the village of Pangboche, well known for its cultivated fields encompassed by rock walls.

      Today we pass many Chortens (Tibetan shrines & tombs) trekking for around 1.5 hours before arriving at the village of Thugla (4600m) where we will stop for lunch at its tea house. After lunch, we head in the direction of some towering peaks, such as Mt Pumori (7161m) and Mt. Nuptse (7861m) before arriving at Lobuche Village (4940m). We then trek through an open valley before coming to Thukla after passing the Pheriche First Aid Post at Pheriche (4371m). The post is manned during the peak trekking seasons. We then descend to the yak pastures of the small settlement of Lobuche.

      This morning we initially start with a two-hour trek to Gorakshep. Along the trail, we have some great views of several soaring peaks, such as Everest, Nuptse, and others. The trail continues for about 150 meters before crossing a moraine and then gets easier before arriving at Gorakshep, one of the worldโ€™s most isolated and highest settlements. After stopping for a lunch break we head to EBC following a trail beside the Khumbu Glacier. The trek around the glacier takes around 1.5 hours before nearing EBC (5360m). At base camp, you will have a chance to meet other climbers and share stories. From EBC you have views of the Khumbu Glacier with its scary and dangerous crevices. We will then head back to Gorakshep, a trek of 6 to 7 hours.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Hike Up To Kalapatthar (5,550M) & Trek To Pangboche (3,900M) 7-8 Hours.

      The early morning trek to Kalapathar (5550m) from Gorakshep will take about two hours. After a short climb to Kalapathar, you will have panoramic views of Everest and other soaring peaks. The wonderful photos of Everest seen on the internet are taken from this vantage point. We then head down to Gorakshep, a fairly easy downhill trek. At Gorakshep, we will stop for tea and a snack before heading down to Pangboche. After achieving your goal of reaching EBC and experiencing high altitude climbing, you will sleep well at Pangboche. 


  • Day 8 Day 8: Trek Back To Namche Bazaar (3,440 M) 6-7 Hours.

      After leaving Pangboche, we take a fairly easy trek for around 30 minutes before reaching Tengboche and then descend to Phunkithanga (3200m). Our final trek heads to Namche where we can rejoice and share memories of the trek. This is also your last chance to appreciate the beauty of these magnificent peaks. At Namche, you can reconnect with friends via the internet, visit the bakery and maybe hang out at a bar!

  • Day 9 Day 9: Trek To Lukla (2,804 M) 7-8 Hours.

      It is quite a long day with a 7-hour trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla, which is nearly all downhill with several sections of level ground. We exit the Sagarmatha National Park and continue on to Lukla where we stay overnight.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Fly Back To Kathmandu (1,350M) 30 Minutes Flight.

      Our morning flight will see us reach Kathmandu in about 30 minutes. During the flight, you will have a birds-eye view of many of the worldโ€™s towering peaks in the Himalaya Ranges. Your guide will escort you from the airport to your hotel in Thamel where you can do some last-minute shopping or just hang out at a cafรฉ or bar.
