      Rafting Down Tara And Drina Rivers

      Our adventure begins with your arrival at our base camp, Outdoor resort TARASPORT. The exact location of the camp is listed at the bottom of this text. We will be expecting you here at 9:45 - 10 AM, parking is free for all our guests. As soon as all the participants arrive, you will meet with your guide and they will be handing out the equipment for the rafting tour. You will receive a neoprene suit, neoprene boots, a helmet and a safety vest. As soon as everyone is suited up, we will turn on the jeeps and take you from our camp to the start point of the rafting tour.

      Upon arrival at the start point, Brลกtanovica on Tara River, you will gather around your guide to hear the briefing about proper conduct on the raft. Our guides are experienced and they all have IRF licenses to guide rafting tours on this river. Once everything is explained, you will hop on the raft and start your rafting tour!

      The rafting activity itself lasts 3 - 5 hours, and in that time you will pass 22 km on the Tara and Drina Rivers with 23 rapids. During the tour you will have a couple of breaks for swimming, jumping off rocks and taking memorable pictures to show your friends and family at home. The duration of the tour depends solely on the river flow and how long the breaks will be.

      You will be flowing down the Tara River until we reach ล ฤ‡epan polje. This is where Tara River and Piva River merge and create Drina River, on which you will continue your descend until you reach our camp. Outdoor resort TARASPORT is located on the river bank of the Drina River, and this is the end point of the rafting tour. All that is left is to return your equipment and then you can take a shower at the camp. Before saying Goodbye, we will transfer the GoPro footages to you, so we would like to ask you to bring a USB or an SD card not smaller than 32 GB so we can transfer the high quality videos and pictures on site.

      Outdoor resort TARASPORT has 11 bungalows, 11 rooms and 2 studios, all units with their own private bathrooms, for accommodating guests from all around the world. We also have a big restaurant with a terrace overlooking the Drina River Canyon, where we serve local, organic meals. On the campground, there are a number of courts for sports (basketball, volleyball, bocce, soccer), a table tennis set, a childrenโ€™s playground for our youngest guests, board games and cards on hand for the guests to entertain themselves, and also three hot tubs for warming up in the evening or after a rafting tour in the chilly river.

      Feel free to check our availability with the staff at the camp, if you wish to book accommodation and/or meals upon arrival. Children under the age of 12 have a 30% discount on the prices of meals and accommodation.
