      City at your own pace before your departure. Make the most of your time by immersing yourself in the 

      rich history and stunning architecture that Quito has to offer.

      Here are some more things you can enjoy on your last day:

      โ€ข Visit the impressive monastery St. Francis at the San Fransisco Square, and enjoy a drink on 

      the square terraceโ€”one of few in the historical center. It is the oldest and most important 

      religious site in Ecuador, with a vast complex holding 13 cloisters, three churches, more than 

      3,500 works of religious art, and a library with thousands of books and historical documents. 

      โ€ข For breathtaking panoramic views, head to El Panecillo hill and admire the towering statue of 

      the Virgin of El Panecillo. Standing at a height of 147 feet (45 meters), this magnificent 

      monument is composed of 7,000 aluminum pieces. If you have a local companion, you can opt
