Then, we will visit the Cementerio Municipal de Magallanes (Magellanโ€™s Local Graveyard) and the Ovejero monument, before going to the Magellan Strait coast road, where we will end the tour.  Note: if you arrive late afternoon, you can take the city tour on Day 3.   Overnight @ Hotel Cabo de Hornos in Punta Arenas

Full Day King Penguin Colony In Tierra Del Fuego

Breakfast.  We will sail through the Strait of Magellan, to visit a beautiful colony of King Penguins, unique in the Americas.  Early morning, pickup  at your hotel to go towards the terminal in Tres Puentes and take the ferry to Tierra del Fuego Island, sailing by the Magellan Strait for 2 hr 15 minutes until we arrive at Chilota Bay. From this last point, we will be heading to Porvenir, where we will have time for lunch and visit the Fernando Cordero Ruesque Museum. We will follow our way by land, boarding the Inรบtil Bay for 110 km until reaching the Pingรผino Rey Park. There, we will stay for 1 hr to observe these birds from a 50 meters (164 ft.) distance. Then, we will go to Primera Angostura to board the ferry again and make a 20 minutes navigation by the Magellan Strait, and begin our return to Punta Arenas, passing by the Estancia San Gregorio, which facilities are from 1878 and today are abandoned. When we arrive in Punta Arenas, we will leave you in your accommodation. *The crossing to Tierra del Fuego could be done through Primera Angostura instead of Tres Puentes, without previous notice, due to weather conditions or reasons of force majeure. In these cases, there is no refund because of the change, we will not pass by Porvenir and the duration of the tour could be extended about 3 hours.  How far can I see the penguins during the visit to the Pingรผino Rey Park? You can see the penguins from the tracks of the park, to a 50 meters (164 ft.) distance, approximately. Overnight @ Hotel Cabo de Hornos in Punta Arenas
