      Free day to discover Peninsula Valdes, to see the Sea Lions, Sea Elephants, and if you get lucky, killer whales.  Whales season is 1 Jun to 30 Nov so if you are there these dates you can do a whale watching boat trip. Try to return to Puerto Madryn using the gravel road along the coast


      Penguins season is 1 Sep - 28 Feb, there is a private penguin sanctuary in Peninsula Valdes or you can drive to the south the following day.
