Day 1: Kyiv - Berdychiv - Kamyanets-Podilskiy

After 180 km from Kyiv we will reach Berdychiv town that mandatory has been jewish town. You will explore the old authentic jewish cemetery and synagogue there. Later you will visit the Discalced Carmelites Order Monastery.

The main sight is still the Ancient Fortress, considered to be one of the best samples of fortification buildings in Eastern Europe. In the towers and dungeons of the fortress are unique exhibitions, which brightly illustrate the pages of Kamianets-Podilskyi's history.

Turkish Minaret was erected over the Cathedral by Turks who captured a town. The statue of Virgin Mary replaced it when Turks had left.

Lviv buildings still keep the spirit of past centuries; cozy streets and fascinating monuments make it a unique attraction among the Ukrainian and Eastern European cities. We will have a walking tour of the centre of L'viv that will include an orientation of the traditional limits of the old town. We will view the Renaissance-style Bernardine Monastery, the Armenian Church and the Cathedral of Dominicans, amongst other important architectural marvels that give this city its character. Your local guide will show you many gems of Old Lviv.
