      Today, experience the vibrant metropolis of Hanoi, which will impress you with magnificent colonial buildings and pagodas. In the morning you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays) and his former residence. You will visit the most important literary temple in Vietnam as well as the "One Pillar Pagoda" Chua Mot Cot - a landmark of Hanoi city. Then you will take a drive around Hoan Kiem Lake, which separates Old Hanoi from the former colonial district, and visit the richly decorated Ngoc Son Temple - the Temple of Jade Mountain. Afterwards, take a one-hour rickshaw ride to explore highlights and photo spots of Hanoiโ€™s Old Quarter with its monuments, traditional handicraft stores and street food cookshops. Finally, as a highlight of the day, you will attend a performance of the legendary Water Puppet Theater.

      On the new trunk road, along the rice fields of the Red River Delta, you will travel to the famous Halong Bay, known for its emerald green waters and rainforest-covered limestone islands. Your boat trip on a junk will take you through a mystical island world. For lunch and dinner you will enjoy regional delicacies - freshly prepared from the sea. You will spend the night on board the junk today.

      In the morning, you will continue your cruise through the dreamlike island world of Halong Bay and enjoy breakfast on board. Until noon you will continue your cruise through the UNESCO World Heritage Site Halong Bay. After lunch, you will disembark and return to Hanoi. From there, you will fly to Hue in central Vietnam. At the airport you will be met by your tour guide and a transfer will take you to your hotel in Hue.

      Day 6: Hue

      Today you will take a boat trip on the Huong River, also called "Perfume River", to the Thien Mu Pagoda, which is worth seeing. With the Phuoc Duyen Tower, the pagoda is the highest in Vietnam. Afterwards, you will visit the Imperial Palace and tour the venerable imperial city of Hue.


      You will visit the Trang Tien Bridge, one of the world famous steel constructions by the Parisian engineer Gustave Eiffel, and explore the Dong Ba Market in the Old Quarter - a feast for all senses! Then head to Tu Duc Tomb - the most luxurious imperial tomb of the Nguyen Dynasty. Transfer to the hotel. If you wish, have dinner at Y Thao Garden, a charming restaurant surrounded by a garden(optional at extra charge & availability).

      Todayโ€™s route runs over the famous Cloud Pass, the weather sheath between North and South Vietnam. In clear weather, you have a fantastic view over the coast of Vietnam to Da Nang. On this day, you can still see the miles long beach of Lang Co and the marble mountains in Da Nang.

      In the morning you will visit the Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda, Chinese Quarter and a lantern workshop. Afterwards, you will start with your guide for a bike tour to Tra Que village. There, a short walk will take you through the farmโ€™s vegetable garden, here you will learn about the way the farmers work the fields. Afterwards, you will relax with a short foot bath and foot massage before preparing lunch together with the villagers. In the afternoon you will learn about the vegetable harvest, then you will say goodbye to your hosts and drive back to the hotel.

      Then you will take a flight from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City - largest city and economic center of Vietnam. Our transfer guide will take you to the hotel. Use the afternoon for your own exploration or enjoy a stroll along the Dong Khoi shopping street.

      - Cooking class with boat tour in Hoi An In the morning, meet the chef of Red Bridge Restaurant for a personally guided shopping tour of the market. Here you will experience Hoi An up close and get a glimpse into the bustling life, foreign sounds and scents of the city and its markets. You will trade with the merchants and buy fresh ingredients for your lunch. After shopping, a boat will take you to the Red Bridge Cooking School on the Hoi An River. There you will learn and learn a lot about Vietnamese herbs, spices, ingredients as well as the art of decorating. The chef will show you how to prepare some of the most delicious Vietnamese dishes. Afterwards, under his guidance, you may get "creative" yourself and conjure up Vietnamese and Hoi An specialties for yourself on the table.       - My Son (half day excursion) The tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will make your way to My Son. Once there, you will visit the capital Tra Kieu, the former administrative seat of the Champa Kingdom. You will discover the majestic ruins of My Son. (Minimum number of participants 2 people)


      - Excursion to the hills of Ba Na with a visit to the Golden Bridge This morning, you will be picked up by your guide at the hotel and transferred to the hills of Ba Na, about 25 km from Da Nang. The region served as an aerial health resort for the former French colonial rulers, but quickly fell into oblivion after the occupation forces left. Only the construction of an amusement park awakened the region from its slumber, which can only be reached by a cable car that climbs almost 1500 meters in height. At the top you will visit Le Jardin Garden Dโ€™Amour, Luna Castle, Sun Palace and of course the famous Golden Bridge. The 150m long pedestrian bridge, carried on two giant hands, offers a picturesque view of the tropical rainforest of the Ba Na Hills.


      From there, you will take a direct route to Da Nang Airport for your onward flight to Saigon.

City tour in Ho Chi Minh City with visit to Reunification Hall, Central Post Office (an architectural masterpiece), and Ben Thanh Market.

      After breakfast, you will take an excursion to the Mekong Delta. The Mekong Delta is the southernmost region of Vietnam and is also called the "Breadbasket", as rice for the whole country is grown here. You will drive to Ben Tre to start your boat trip on the Mekong River. You will stop at a small farm to taste delicious local fruits and tea. You will take a rickshaw to the restaurant where you will have lunch. Continue by small boats on the narrow waterways back to Ben Tre and transfer to Ho Chi Minh City.

In the afternoon you will visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom with the famous Bayon complex, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. The day is rounded off with a visit to the famous jungle temple of Ta Phrom. On the way back to the hotel, stop for a soothing foot massage.
