Day 1: YANGON ARRIVAL

Day 2: YANGON FULL-DAY TOUR

Stop At: Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Rd, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel in the morning.
A full day tour to discover the colorful city of Myanmar with a close look at the local life of this historical city. By car and partly on foot this tour takes in the Sule pagoda in the middle of the city, walk around to see the Mahabandoola Park, the colonial courthouse and the city hall. From there walking tour around the colonial area with the historical buildings will start, breaking at a local teashop to enjoy Burmese food and tea and the typical atmosphere. Continue east passing a couple of alleyways crammed with food stalls and markets. You'll pass the High Court Building, the grand Inland Water Transport offices and even grander Myanmar Port Authority building until you'll reach Strand Road. Your next stop will be outside of the majestic Strand Hotel and walk along Strand Road until you'll see the Customs House and the Law Court, an impressive-looking colonial buildings and visit the bustling Yangon harbor.

Visit Bogyoke Aung San Market and give opportunity to do some shopping (formerly Scottโ€™s market, closes on Monday and public holidays) with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts, and gems stores.

Stop At: Chaukhtatgyi Buddha, Shwegondine Road Bahan Township, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
Heading to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to see a huge reclining Buddha image and also the most well-known Buddhist temple in Bahan Township. The reclining Buddha is amazing and there are fantastic vantage points throughout the building that allow unique perspectives on the shapes and colors of his pigmentation and other qualities.

An extended visit to Karawait Palace and Kandawgyi (Royal Lake) park.

Stop At: Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
Visit to one of the world's most spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda: its golden stupa is the 'heart' of Myanmar. The pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa is surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. There are always many Myanmar people praying and making offerings at Shwedagon, and it's a fascinating place to spend time watching the world go by. Day 3: BAGAN ARRIVAL AND TOUR

Stop At: Shwezigon Paya, Bagan Myanmar
Arrive at Nyaung โ€“ U Bus Terminal, welcome by our tour guide and driver.
You will stroll through the marketplace of Nyaung U, and get a glimpse into the lifestyle of Burmese people.
An all-day visit to this huge area - a day full of culture. But we will avoid hectic tourism and will show you the most beautiful temples and pagodas, leisurely but in detail.
Visit Shwezigon Pagoda: One of the oldest stupas in Bagan area built by the great two kings Anawrahta and Kyanzittha. The Stupaโ€™s graceful bell shape became a prototype for virtually all later stupas over Myanmar. It is known as the site where the 37 pre-Buddhist nat were first officially endorsed Burma monarchy.

Stop At: Ananda Temple, Beside Anawrahta Road, Bagan 05232 Myanmar
Ananda Pahto: whose interior seems almost Gothic and is considered to be the most beautiful among all the temples of Bagan. Facing outward from the centre of the cube are four 9.5m standing Buddhas.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Htilominlo, Nyaung-U, Myanmar (Burma)
Htinlominlo Pahto: built by King Nantaungmya in 1218. Inside the 46m-high temple, there are four Buddhas on the lower and upper floors. Traces of old murals are also still visible.

Stop At: Dhammayangyi Temple, Bagan Myanmar
Dhammayangyi Temple: huge brick red temple built by King Narathu.
Lacquer ware: visit traditional manufacture of unique Bagan lacquer ware.
Enjoy wonderful sunset around the temples and then transfer to the hotel.

Day 4: MOUNT POPA HIKING AND EXCURSION

Stop At: Mount Popa, Kyauk Padaung Road, Popa Myanmar
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel in the morning.
We will drive through the sun-parched plain with Palmyra palms to the Mountain of Deities, Popa (1.5 hours). There is hiking to the huge volcanic rock on a staircase to see shrines for nats (celestial spirits of Burmese mythology) and small temples for Lord Buddha. It will take you about 20 minutes to reach the top of Mount Popa (Sanskrit word for Flower) and you will pass by many small food stalls and small stores selling traditional herbal medicines. Enjoy the nature, feed the foods to monkeys, and discover the life of the local villages. Continue to the Mother Spirit of Popa Nat Shrine at the base of the mountain.
On the way back to Bagan, stop by the local cottage industries to see how palm juice is collected for the making of toddy wine and palm candies. Enjoy green tea and traditional snacks, tea leaf salad.
Just in time for sunset you will be back in Bagan: Enjoy the scenic beauty of Bagan plains with 1000 years old red brick temples and white-washed pagodas. After the tour, transfer to your Hotel.

Day 5: BAGAN TOUR AND BAGAN TO NYAUNG SHWE (INLE LAKE)

Visit Minnanthu Village and Payarthonezu Temple Complex. Continue on visit Gubyaukgyi Temple admiring the fine stuccowork.
Nanpaya temple: built in the Mon style with intricate stone carvings, and said once to have been Manuha's residence.

Thatbyinnyu temple: One of the highest monuments of Bagan
Continue on; visit Gubyaukgyi Temple admiring the fine stuccowork.

Stop At: Tharabar Gate, Bagan Myanmar
Tharabar Gate and Myinkaba Village to discover and learn the traditional lacquer ware culture at the Lacquer ware Workshop. You will see skilled workers creating the Burmese style lacquer ware and produced some decorative items for tourists. From the Lacquer ware Workshop, we will visit to Manuha Temple. You will learn some history of these temples built in centuries.

Day 6: NYAUNG SHWE (INLE LAKE) ARRIVAL AND INLE LAKE TOUR

Stop At: Inle Lake, Nyaungshwe Myanmar
Arrive at Naung Shwe Bus Terminal, welcome by our English-speaking guide.
Enjoy a boat trip on the lake and observe the beautiful surroundings en route to the floating market and floating gardens. Visit the rural but bustling five-day market and observe locals and several minority groups wearing traditional costumes trading farm produce such as vegetables, fruits, dried tea leaves as well as animals. The vibrant atmosphere of the market makes it a jolly experience. (The date of this special market is set by the local people and the location changes every 5 days; your guide will inform you of the exact location).
Visit to the southwest of the lake where Shwe Inn Dein pagoda complex is situated. Take the small covered path from the Pa O tribe village to a monastery and the very impressive ruins of hundreds of ancient pagodas, some hidden under vegetation. The main stupa-area on the top of the hill offers breathtaking views over the surroundings and into the valley with the lake in the far distance.
You will visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most highly revered monastery in the Inle Lake area. Discover the traditional handicrafts lotus and silk weaving on wooden handlooms and the silver smith workshop.
Meet Kayan ethnic long-neck Padaung ladies and learn their traditional dress and culture.
On the lake, you can see traditional fishing methods by using the leg rowing technique. We proceed to the floating garden - Kyun-Hmyaw, which was built-up from strips of water hyacinth and mud, dredged from the lake bed, which breaks down into rich humus; it takes 50 years to produce a layer of 1m thick.
Relax and enjoy spectacular sunset views over Inle Lake before transfer to your hotel in Nyaung Shwe (Inle Lake).

Day 7: INLE LAKE โ€“ PINDAYA TOUR โ€“ YANGON

Enjoy a scenic drive to Pindaya through the picturesque countryside and mountain fields of Shan State. Discover the colorful landscaping with a close look at the local life. Learn traditional agriculture and plantation.
Stop at Botaload Lake and relax with the fresh air and beautiful environment.
Visit Pindayaโ€™s limestone cave with its maze of chambers displaying more than 8,000 Buddha statues.
Continue on visit local handicraft workshops producing Shan paper made from mulberry bark and traditional umbrellas made from the same paper that are used by monks all around the country.
