      Kathmandu: Pashupatinath Temple

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley. Start with a visit to Durbar Square, the heart of Kathmanduโ€™s religious and cultural life, featuring ancient temples and impressive Newari architecture. Key sights include Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap, and Kumari Ghar, the residence of the Living Goddess.

Next, head to Swayambhunath Stupa, one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, majestically perched on a hilltop overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. Proceed to Pashupatinath Temple, a major Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, located alongside the holy Bagmati River. While only Hindus are permitted to enter the temple courtyard, tourists can view the temple from the eastern side of the river.

Later, visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas globally. This impressive stupa features four pairs of eyes watching over the four cardinal directions, symbolizing the Buddhaโ€™s presence and promoting righteous conduct and human prosperity.

After exploring the valley, return to your accommodation. In the evening, join a brief orientation session regarding the upcoming trek.
