Itinerary of your trip Poonhill Ghandruk Village Trek For 5 Days

  • Day 1 Drive To Nayapul And Trek To Hile 1450Meters
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Drive To Nayapul And Trek To Hile 1450Meters

It is the official start of the journey for which you have been waiting. To get to Nayapul, though, will take us roughly two hours of driving across 50 kilometers. Once your permission and TIMS have been checked in at the ACAP office in Birethanti, the Ghorepani Ghandruk Village trekking can officially commence. From here, we walk for almost three hours to Hile or Tikhedhunga, enjoying the scenery, taking in the natural surroundings, and listening to the Bhurungdi Kholaโ€™s flowing waters and the chirping of birds till we arrive in Hile.

  • Day 2 Trek To Ghorepani
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Trek To Ghorepani

The day begins by crossing a few suspension bridges at Tikhedhunga, followed by Ulleriโ€™s strenuous but picturesque hills. The hike is outstanding because of the breathtaking mountain views, from which we can see mountains like Annapurna South 7219m. A peaceful environment is created by the communitiesโ€™ blend of culture and nature, as well as by the farms, streams, and springs found nearby. We arrive in Ghorepani after traveling through rhododendron trees, where we spend the night. The view of the mountains and valley from Ghorepani is surreal. Rhododendrons in bloom add a striking contrast to the landscape if you visit in the spring.

  • Day 3 Sunrise Hike To Poonhill, And Continue Trek To Tadapani 2610Meters
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Sunrise Hike To Poonhill, And Continue Trek To Tadapani 2610Meters

The journey on this day begins much earlier than on other days because our major objective is to see the dawn in the magnificent Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. One of the most enriching walks is the 45-minute one to Poonhill. Unparalleled views of the sunโ€™s golden rays illuminating snow-covered peaks of mountains like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Dhampus, Tukuche, Mardi, and others are ours to see. We return to the hotel for breakfast after taking in the stunning sights and sliver of sun. We resume our five- to six-hour hike to Tadapani after breakfast.

  • Day 4 Trek To Ghandruk Village 1940 Meters
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Trek To Ghandruk Village 1940 Meters

It takes two to three hours to hike to Ghandruk Village, and most of that time is spent making steep descents through bird-filled jungle. We go past Rhododendron trees, streams, mountains, and stone steps before arriving at the picturesque and storied village of Ghandruk. The Gurkhas are the majority of the locals. The town is flanked by the Machhapuchhre and Annapurna mountains as well as lovely green hills. One of the biggest and oldest Gurung communities in the nation is this village. The trekโ€™s best feature is the hospitable people who make it possible to have a typical experience in a natural setting.

  • Day 5 Trek Down To Nayapul And Drive To Pokhara
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Trek Down To Nayapul And Drive To Pokhara

We will be falling by about 1000 meters today because it is the final day. We ascend stone steps, pass by terraces, old homes, and rice fields as we make our way 1100 meters to Syaulibazaar. The descent is enjoyable because of the shifting vistas of Mt. Fishtail and Annapurna South, which contrast in green and gray. At Nayapul, 1050 meters, when our walk comes to a conclusion, we take a drive back to Pokhara. You can choose between taking a nap, going for a stroll, or relaxing at one of the pubs or restaurants along the lake.

Poon Hill is a well-known hill station where you may view the vast Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain ranges. We have to trek through the village and jungle to get to the Poonhill. Because of this, Poonhill Trekking is now one of the greatest short treks in Nepal.

Furthermore, one of the most well-known communities in the entire Annapurna region is Ghandruk. Ghandruk hamlet, famous for being a Gurkha community, is primarily populated by Gurung people. In the shadow of Mt. Annapurna and Fishtail, the peopleโ€™ culture, traditions, and everyday lives are stunning.
